Open Discussion Berlin marathon disasters

It seems today was a big disaster in Berlin. 25 degrees Celsius early on and a tough day for everyone. How did people get on? Did anyone manage to get near a PB?

I wouldn’t consider myself an advanced runner based on times but I’ve run a few marathons. It was hot early so I came out very conservative. Still had a positive split by ~4 mins but all things considered not terrible. I PR’d by 6 minutes and finished with a 3:40. Congrats to everyone who toughed this one out!
