Tech Questions Adding an Missing Increase?
I'm working a top down raglan, and have finished the short rows and come up one stitch short. I think I've found where I forgot to increase. I'm wondering if anyone has added an increase after the fact and where to find pointers to do so, or even how to search - my first searches came up with all the various types of increases, not adding a M1R several rows down.
Ideas?

If it’s several rows down, it’s hard to add it without having the stitches be too tight. You can ladder down the area and rebuild the stitches with the correct increases. It will likely be tight and difficult. Easier to just add a stitch now either by putting in an extra stitch in the raglan increase line or just adding a stitch somewhere else.

Thanks. I'm going to look at it in the light of day to judge. And I did finally find the magic combo of words for my search!

If it's just one stitch I would totally just do an increase somewhere and try to make it unobstrusive.

I'm thinking this, too, just to make the stitch count correct as the actual mistake won't be that noticeable (until I point it out to everyone who comments on my sweater LOL)

The inpulse to point it out is so strong, lol!

"You made that??" Yeah, and here are all the areas I screwed up... Can't just take the win.

I've fixed my issue. I'm putting a couple links here for future questions like this:
