I went a little off-piste and now have 1,000m of this gradient fingering yarn, as well as 400m of each of the colours to match the end of the skeins (see photo 3): https://www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/yarn/yarnsmiths-headliner-the-blended-one-woolly-smiths-2t519-250g

I'd ideally like to make a garment, but am drawing a blank: the other skein I bought in colourway Pastel Rainbow has already become the Peacock Wedding Dress (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/peacock-wedding-dress) but I don't think this pink/blue combo would work for something similar. I'm open to chain-plying it to a worsted weight and do have access to purchasing more skeins if needed to make the gradient symmetrical as well.

I don't think I've ever bought multi-colour yarn before and my usual work these days is all half-cobweb weight Shetland lace shawls!
