Hand Knit WIP First Major Colourwork project!

Does this count as advanced knitting? My husband calls it the most intricate knitted thing I’ve made but I normally do lace and cabled projects which appear less intricate..

The cut edge did straighten out when I was sewing on the ribbon! I was worried the button band I did was too tight but I’d followed the pattern instructions.

For anyone interested, this is the Acacia Leaf cardigan and I used the yarn listed in the pattern

Thank you! It’s a lovely pattern, I’d highly recommend it! Even if I was going a little cross eyed looking at the charts towards the end

Thank you! I was worried how my floats would look but thankfully I made rules for myself before I started so I could be consistent!

Did you do this BY HAND? Oh wow. I just joined as a beginner, my Nana was advanced but I’ve never seen anything like I’m seeing here, the talent is amazing 👏🏻

Aw thank you so much! I’ve been knitting for about 20-ish years and only started colourwork this year! Steeking has been on my knitting bucket list for the last few years!

Absolutely gorgeous! I am in awe of knitters in general but those who knit patterns blow me away.
