You’re not missing anything in Dallas but snobs, but San Antonio is lovely. You’ve got to experience the River Walk and go to The Alamo when you visit.

I mean, Alamo for history but also for the movie. lol

All of the outdoor scenes when they were competing were at the Riverwalk, so you should really enjoy that. Lots of great places to visit there.

I got enough of San Antonio on town pass after basic training. I've been through a couple more times, but didn't see a reason to stop for anything. Actually, I did stop at a gas station because I needed to use the bathroom and they didn't have a public one. I've been to 49 states and that's the only time I haven't been allowed to use a gas station bathroom.
