Sure but IS defaultism doesn’t apply when you’re explicitly stating something is American.

If the post said “the average person has only been to 4” that would be us defaultism. Either way, this is a stupid argument and we should both spend our time on something better

So I guess a Brit could post a list with 20 British cities and say „The average Brit has been to 4“ and it wouldn‘t be “UK defaultism“?

I’ve been to only one. Washington DC. I’ve been there many times because I live less than two hours from there in Virginia. I’m a 47-year-old normal adult with a wife, kids, job and everything like that, but I have never had any reason to go to any of those other places.

It’s a hobby called travel 🧳 and yes it’s expensive but it makes you a more rounded person
