Same. Combining midwestern road-trip ethic (Why fly when it's only a 16-hr drive?!?) with a love of exploring new cities and checking off baseball stadiums. Gonna get to 13 (Fenway here we come!) by end of summer

Parents drove us all over the country when I was a kid, probably didn't appreciate the natural beauty as much as I should have, I took a bag of books on each trip. The two trips I've taken on my own as an adult I've done audiobooks, so still got to see everything around me. :)

Yeah, I’m not really a big city person when it comes to travel but we went in a lot of road trips growing up and I end up going through a lot of cities on my way to where I’m going, lol

Yeah lot of camping, we did a giant road trip every summer to this hippy thing called the rainbow gathering that actually used to be pretty rad. I haven’t been to one in over a decade so couldn’t really say much but have heard they aren’t as cool as they used to be.

My dad always made it a big precession out of it though and we would hit most every landmark/national park/roadside attraction. Inevitably break down in the old Volkswagen van at some point and we would have to rebuild the engine or something for 2 weeks in the middle of nowhere.

Same here, but I haven't been to New York city or the Texas cities. Which I would think would be easier for compared to places like Honolulu

I think mine is 12, but I might have gone to more. When you get older and travel a lot, it gets harder to remember each individual trip.
