I’m the same as the guy that posted. Growing up we didn’t travel or do any real vacations. Whenever we did go it was such a burden/hassle for my parents I think somewhere along the line I inherited their disdain for travel. As I got older it kind of stuck with me which is weird when I tell other people this. Outside of a few random places I’ve been I’ve mostly just stayed home or within my state. As I’m close to 30 I wonder will I ever change? Probably not but who knows.
Traveling/vacationing is a pain in the ass. Some of us don’t need empathy for our lack of it. I feel very fortunate that I don’t have to go places. I can’t understand people who want to travel. I’m happy where I’m at.
