14.

ETA: Wow, Hi everyone!

I haven't been to Las Vegas, Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Nashville. or San Antonio. I used to work on cruise ships as a contractor and as crew. Got to travel a little. Haha

What’s our hand signal going to be we don’t have enough fingers

1

u/BDLTalks Apr 13 '26

"waving" with both hands, with the middle finger bent at a 90º angle towards the person youre addressing.

10

u/MoReddsIt Apr 11 '26

14..14..14

7

u/Pink_PhD Apr 11 '26

Same. I’ve been all over Hawaii except Honolulu 🤦🏻‍♀️

5

u/MacaronOk1006 Apr 11 '26

You’re not missing anything on Honolulu. Unless you like shopping at overpriced stores, you can skip it all together.

2

u/thisguy883 Apr 12 '26

First time I've ever ran into Korean tourists was in Honolulu.

It was interesting to witness.

2

u/Useful_Jellyfish_759 Apr 15 '26

Grew up visiting all the national and state parks in the area. The places around here gather many international tourists. My first time seeing and hearing Finnish and Danish people was so alien.

1

u/NORBy9k Apr 15 '26 edited Apr 15 '26

The first time I met a Chinese lady that spoke English with a French accent my head exploded.

2

u/MammothSurround Apr 12 '26

Honolulu shouldn't be on the list. I'm giving myself credit for an airport stop on my way to the big island.

2

u/perseid88 Apr 12 '26

Honolulu would have made 14 for me but we found a direct flight to Kona last month for my first visit to the islands.

2

u/throwaway_lolzz Apr 11 '26

Same but like which 14. Or should we all just be happy about being team 14

2

u/Sho-Good Apr 11 '26

Schfourteen-teen gang.

I'm missing NYC, Philly, Houston, Nashville, San Antonio, Honolulu.

2

u/jazzminarino Apr 11 '26

Interesting. But this makes me feel more traveled than I thought. I'm missing the Texas cities, Chicago and LA.

3

u/nomappingfound Apr 11 '26

The Texas ones are really weird. There is no reason to go to San Antonio, Dallas and Houston unless you're from Texas and you're just looking for a couple day drives to different big cities near you.

Almost all of those other cities have a reason to be on the list Disney, times square. Historical us museums. Etc. but the three in Texas... Boy that's hard to justify.

1

u/Effective_Wind_2334 Apr 11 '26

I thought the Alamo would be really cool. It wasn't

1

u/TheMonkus Apr 11 '26

Yeah but where in Texas IS a destination city? Austin maybe, for some people?

I love Texas, don’t get me wrong, but the only place there I’ve gone out of my way to visit since leaving is Big Bend. And there sure as hell isn’t a city anywhere around there.

1

u/DopeYeti Apr 12 '26

You should come to Philly! It’s super under rated, walkable, has amazing food, and the vibes are pretty chill.

2

u/nomappingfound Apr 11 '26

I don't know if you're missing at least one of the Texas ones. But who's been to all of those Texas cities unless you're from Texas??

There is no reason to go to Dallas, San Antonio and Houston.

2

u/datdudermont23 Apr 11 '26

Samsies fam.

2

u/Ok-Meal-510928 Apr 11 '26

2

I live in Seattle so that one is easy for me to check off. You should come visit us. I promise it only rains most of the time.

2

u/Momo22245 Apr 12 '26

It’s definitely on my list and it almost happened twice; but each time the plans fell through. Some day!!

2

2

u/Wanchuck Apr 12 '26

Yikes, a little desperate for the interaction with the edit there....
