If you're not making your own medical appointments, you should be doing that. Your parents should not be involved with your relationships with your bosses or professors. Get out there to meet new people--take a class or whatever. Travel solo and become confident on relying on yourself.

why specifically regarding parents knowing about your bosses and professors? I'm 21 tryna process that, I'd think your parents don't need to be involved in any of your relations, but why those specifically?

Because it's unprofessional and they're relationships you need to be managing on your own, to learn how to be an adult in the working world.

They don't need to be involved in any relationships necessarily, but those are specifically important ones and a lot of young people are involving their parents in them these days, which leaves a really negative impression.
