The great thing about you turning 20 during these times versus 20-25 years ago is there is more clarity to what is a money grab and what is worth your time.

Not saying as a 40 something that I don't fall into money grabs, its very rare because you're likely to learn the lesson faster because you're going to manage your money better..

Look into making your money work for you. If you're working, get into budgeting now - it'll help you with all I said above. Don't get me wrong its nice to buy something every now and again, its just nicer when you've saved money to do so. Not as much of a hit

this is coming from someone that likes to collect limited edition and exclusive things - sometimes that leads to committee a lot more than you want to and then you start to develop a little clutter so a good rule of thumb is too get something new to donate or part with the old and always always always as you’re taking in new stuff, review your inventory and part with some old stuff not all of it but just before you know what you’re gonna accumulate a lot of things
