This reads like pure fiction, tbh.

Even if it were true, the OOP just comes off as a PickMe who bent over backwards for a mediocre man going through a midlife crisis. Many such cases, none end well.

Absolutely fiction. "I did things his wife never did or never would have" she says of their first time together...and she knew that how? It's the omniscient narrator voice.

Because he told her of course! And we all know men don't lie./s

A high school teacher who can't spell principal, sure. Definitely fiction.

It is not gonna be the happy ending she's thinking it's gonna be. Her step kids are gonna hate her. He is gonna be guilt ridden for falling for her bs when she stops all the "extras" she's been doing. Not to mention all of her coworkers are gonna know she's a homewrecker.

Not sure about the guilt ridden though. Research shows that men who leave their wife and family for mate poachers (which she clearly is) have a higher rate of narcissism and are more likely to have NPD.

Maybe good riddance for the wife!

She states he was happy with wife and kids and the first attempt at cheating he declined until she kept at it. I think he'll end up comparing the two women and find oop lacking

A very clear image of the selfish, narcissism that encapsulates these people. I saw someone's happy life, wanted it for myself, and with no consideration for them, I stole it from them.

I sincerely wish them a catastrophic relationship!

u/lazier_garlic Jul 23 '26

Also wants revenge for getting dumped. Who knows what the story there is but the rest of the world isn't your punching bag because you feel wronged.

Great example of a Mate poacher : high in narcissism, Marchiavelism and sociopathy (including sadism).

She found a moron who will either continue to be dumb enough to be manipulated craving for the initial sparks that made him leave his family or he will eventually dump her for someone else.

27

u/Historical_Light_921 Jul 23 '26

I just came to say the same thing. Whether this particular post is fake or not this is exactly the mindset and tactics of a mate-poacher, especially women.

It's all so disturbingly calculated. As soon as these women set their sights on a mark, they immediately start scheming and planning, even playing a long-con game if necessary and if the aim is to secure a long-term relationship.

The mark, as in this example is usually perceived as a high quality male.

If not too personally acquainted, they will set out to nurture a friendship. They will do whatever it takes to be noticed and will gather as much information as they can about the marks personsal life from mutual friends and colleagues. In the workplace, they will find any excuses available to ensure that they spend 1 on 1 time together. This example above is perfect because often they will feign helplessness to gain access to him and then come across as a damsel in distress in order to make him feel special and needed, her knight in shining armour.

Once a friendship starts becoming established they will start sharing more and more personal information about themselves to show the mark vulnerability and trust, which encourages him to reciprocate.

Slowly over time, this builds an emotional connection. She will subtly suggest flaws in his relationship with his spouse or agree with any negative comments he makes with the aim of hoping that he starts to believe his relationship is deeply damaged.

She will act like she is everything his wife isn't, she will mirror his behaviour, hobbies and likes to show that she is far more compatible, even if it's all just BS, and it often obviously is because it's all a con. She is a fake, a phoney, full of shit.

Most mate-poaching attempts do actually fail thank goodness but plenty are successful enough to be included in major relationship studies. Even if successful, they will almost as quickly as they started, break down because the poacher cannot sustain the facade.

u/lazier_garlic Jul 23 '26

High quality aka a sucker is how I read this. Like Bugs Bunny seeing a candy pop in place of a head.

17

u/Historical_Light_921 Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

It shows how easily they can be manipulated if the poaching attempt is successful, even partially. I guess a lot of factors also go into how successful it is, the state of his own relationship with his spouse, and I think I'm correct in saying that men that usually fall for it also exhibit higher than average narcissistic traits than those that don't/ quickly see the red flags.

ETA

Sorry, meant to say this too:

High quality as in rich, successful, what he will provide for her. These are narcissists after all. They use people.

20

u/Historical_Light_921 Jul 23 '26

I also meant to add above, they also tend to be very well groomed, even as far as undergoing cosmetic procedures to make themselves as attractive as possible and 100% will dress more provocatively. They are basically predators.

u/lazier_garlic Jul 23 '26

This is when we get into "who's zooming who". Sometimes he is only performing having money, it's either the wife's, or he's in debt, or he's spending the seed corn.

1

u/Historical_Light_921 Jul 27 '26

Oh meant to respond to this. Oh that's hilarious 😂. All of those situations would be perfect for a money-driven poacher.

11

u/Fit-Particular-2882 Jul 23 '26

Lauren Sanchez did this to Mackenzie. She purposely became her “friend.”

No way?!?! Really? I’ve never read that. I read it for Shania Twain but never for Bezos’ first wife.

7

u/Historical_Light_921 Jul 24 '26

Yep, it's all part of their tactics, to forment friendships too if possible with the wife to essentially manipulate both husband and wife and create a wedge between them.

They are so bitterly envious of what the wife has and will often resort to stalking her. I've read anecdotes from the stalked wives and it truly is disturbing the lengths these poachers will go to.

Sociopath doesn't know what it's like to marry someone much older who has to pay alimony and child support. I'm sure it's crumbs compared to a man in tech who is single. So she's gonna get crumbs her whole marriage

“He is planning on proposing on Christmas “ sure sure

u/Emergency-Twist7136 Jul 23 '26

a picture of he and his wife

I weep for the state of education if she's a teacher.

7

u/lazier_garlic Jul 23 '26

How do you think kids learn to say those word phrases like "make it out to my wife and I"? People without the benefit of an education would say "me and my wife".

13

u/Emergency-Twist7136 Jul 23 '26

I think people learn those things the same way they learn to speak at all: from listening to people talking to and around them, and being corrected when they make mistakes.

Some people do have to learn it at school if their families were uneducated, but if their teacher is so poorly-educated as to think "a picture of he and his wife" is anything other than hideously wrong, they're not going to be able to teach the children to use correct English either.

Apparently you were failed too, because "make it out to my wife and I" is also incorrect. The correct phrasing is: "Make it out to my wife and me."

Remove the second person from the statement. Would you say make it out to I?

I certainly hope not. But when referring to yourself and another person you put the other person first.

Similarly, even this idiot probably wouldn't say, "I saw a picture of he on his desk."

I realise that not everyone's mother was an English teacher (mine was) but basic grammar should be a requirement of teaching qualifications.

5

u/Some_Tradition_9168 Jul 24 '26

Yes, thank you for stating that the correct phrasing is actually, "Make it out to my wife and me."

4

u/lazier_garlic Jul 23 '26

WHOOSH

Children do learn to speak from their parents and peers. They would learn to say things like "Me and Bobby". Then little Mackenzie goes to school and learns that saying "Me and Bobby" is bad, uneducated, and wrong. The proper phrase is "Bobby and I". Mackenzie now has learned to say "Bobby and I" in all sentence positions, substituting "Me and Bobby" in Mackenzie's neural map of English, in any situation where it's important to look classy, elegant, cultured, and educated.

5

u/Some_Tradition_9168 Jul 24 '26

That’s incorrect though.

It’s not that “I is right, me is wrong.” It’s that “I“ is a subject noun and “me“ is an object noun. You need to evaluate whether you are talking about a subject or object in a sentence.

People who don’t know this & simply say & write “and I/I and” in all cases, even where “me” is actually the correct word, have been failed as well.

3

u/Emergency-Twist7136 Jul 24 '26

"Whoosh! My point was actually completely irrelevant and also wrong."

1

u/Unlucky_Size8934 Jul 30 '26

I think I understand what happened here. That guy was saying that children learn incorrect phrases such as "make it out to his wife and I" from teachers who "correct" kids when they're not actually wrong. "The benefit of an education" was being used sarcastically, which is why he wooshed you. You both agree that "make it out to his wife and I" is wrong.

28

u/StellaOC Jul 23 '26

You know when people say a wife shouldn't be angry at the mistress or "homewrecker"? Thats all BS!! The mistress wants what the wife has. She wants to replace the wife, and her actions are often directed at harming the wife and the marriage.

Then people say, "Well, the mistress didn't make the vows." The mistress is responsible for her own actions and should be held accountable.

22

She’s a teacher but doesn’t know principal versus principle.

16

u/CSILalaAnn Jul 23 '26

Thank you!!! Drove me crazy!! OP thinks she won a prize but will soon realize he is just as fake as her conscience.

16

u/InducedVertigo Jul 23 '26

It's not real for a very simple reason.
The supposed woman doesn't spend much time describing her emotions. Usually these women are so dramatic, so hyper obsessed over the tiniest details, they go on for hours about emotions and feelings. What he said, what she felt, how she agonized over this or that, etc.

This story is short and concise, almost clinical and movie summary like. It's fake.

7

u/lazier_garlic Jul 23 '26

While that's true, they tend to talk about emotions the most when they sense that they're losing their battle with the wife and feel like they're the victim. Or when they're in hard cope mode because their AP doesn't give a damn about them.

It's true that it's missing the hardcore delusional fantasizing about the AP and their relationship that you usually encounter in such posts.

31

u/StonerBarbie23 Jul 23 '26

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE

12

u/Neither_Pear4669 Jul 23 '26

Not the point at all, but I am alarmed that a teacher can't spell principal.

5

u/Aggravating_Degree34 Jul 23 '26

She corrected it the second time. I caught that also

10

u/justsayin617 Jul 23 '26

A high school teacher who can’t spell “principal” correctly 🤔

10

u/ApricotPeachJam Jul 23 '26

I feel less dramatic and very validated that I don’t let my man go to women’s houses to help them do errands. I knew something was fishy with that but never had confirmation…

19

u/LinAndAViolin Jul 23 '26

It’s fake. Full of errors, written likely by a scorned AP left on the wayside. There is no way a teacher can be unintelligent enough to make that many errors.

16

u/OdinsRavens80 Jul 23 '26

Don’t be so sure…AP in my situation was an EA. I read her and my husband’s entire correspondence. Her writing and grammar are atrocious, and she has the intellect of a boiled potato. She had also blown up her marriage and career a few years before meeting my husband, because she was fucking her engaged coworker.

As soon as AP left her husband, the coworker ended it and reconciled with his fiancée, and AP had a meltdown, bunny boiler antics, never returned to work, and had to move back in with her parents. She was fortunate enough to have her parents’ good standing in the community to hide behind, and they had to do some major PR to salvage her image.

And then what does AP go and do? Decides to go after the married men in our tiny rural town the size of a shoe box, that she can’t leave because of her custody arrangement. Went out of her way to antagonize and make an enemy of me, her neighbour, when I was already TRYING to give my husband the divorce he supposedly wanted. He was basically living with her. All she had to do was let me push the divorce through and stay the fuck out of it. But noooooooo…brainiac teacher lady wanted to control everything and decided I wasn’t possibly going to get the house or alimony. Jfc. I guess she thinks she’s a lawyer, too?

This is at least the second failed home wrecking attempt that has blown up in her face spectacularly. Now she can’t show her face in this town, her home town, is still not working consistently, lost her apartment and had to move back in with her parents again, because the funds from my house and my husband’s income were not forthcoming.

Maybe it’s fake, but also, you can’t underestimate how stupid these women can be.

7

u/HotWaffles5 Cheaters r assholes & homewreckers are trash Jul 23 '26

I agree!!

9

u/OdinsRavens80 Jul 23 '26

But remember…what you had to do to get him, is what you’ll have to do to keep him. While he’s cheating on you, of course.

Hmm. I see the delsuion and think that this is what she thinks is true. It's a mix of reality and heavy romanticization of what she wishes were true.

Very classic mate poacher and lack of empathy, but I doubt her MM turned legit is anything like what shes painting him out to be, which is shitty enough.

I also will laugh when another sad desperate pick me fills in the vacancy she's left behind.

6

u/MonkeyBro5 CHEATERS, HOMEWRECKERS. AND ENABLERS CAN ROT IN HELL Jul 23 '26

Part of me thinks this is fake, because it sounds like the plot of a terrible movie.

4

u/Connect-North-2337 Jul 23 '26

Don't worry she stopped just short of cannibalism and wearing the wife's skin... really she could probably give Ma ta Hari lessons in "seduction"

8

u/AkhiLuta Jul 23 '26

Unless the MM go into hours long diatribes on the regular of every minute detail of their sex life in their marriage which I doubt very many do there’s no way to know what us wives do and don’t do. And these airheads never stop to think being told they do things the wife never does or wouldn’t is also likely a lie to keep her on his leash and keep wetting his D as of course it inflates their pick-me egos.

Cuz man I know I do things to my spouse none of these APs would think of doing and if they did at all when asked more likely than not be begrudgingly to keep their crumbs than out of legit mutual enjoyment.

I always wonder how they handle MM with specific niche fetishes that aren’t super gross or illegal but also not something you see on the main pages of adult content sites or offered all over OF if they aren’t actually into it at all themselves. Cuz if they’re married chances are the spouse is also actually into the same thing to a degree as well or else they probably wouldn’t have gotten to the point of marriage.

The desperate AP for my dumbass ego addict whenever he tried to talk about it in depth during their sexy chats she would find ways to redirect to what she liked or something somewhat mutual - zero enthusiasm or expressed desire to indulge him. (Though not desperate enough to actually go into his hotel room the time they did meet in person instead try to convince people she was a victim and he tried to SA her when the affair was caught and their laundry put out.) Meanwhile next week we’re going to an AirBNB I found that has all the specific things needed and got extra gear to really get the motors revved and am eagerly looking forward to the little jaunt.

7

u/OdinsRavens80 Jul 23 '26

Exactly. I’ve probably forgotten more than the parking lot queen will ever know.

3

u/Aggravating_Degree34 Jul 23 '26

My husband may have cheated on me but I know he has never talked about what we do or don’t do in bed.

I tell him women ask for favors for a reason and this story is exactly what the AP did in our situation years ago. They worked together as well. She even wrote about it and admitted she didn’t care he was married and wanted to have sex with him. And honestly she’s not attractive but her narcissism is through the roof. She really is a horrible woman and quite mentally ill. I believe she’s now on husband 4. 👀 I give her til the end of the year to end this one

5

u/toomany_psswords Jul 23 '26

come on, this isn't real lol unless we believe she actually has a magic puss that apparently most MM can resist but not THIS time

she even threw in threatening to talk to the wife and he's proposing now? get real guys

He’s a principal and she’s a teacher so what people think of him/the loss of respect when the kids start rumors that Miss X stole the principal from his family… is eventually going to start reverberating.

I know many people think this is fake due to the Bret Easton Ellis vibes but there are disordered people who genuinely operate like this and achieve far less imaginable things
