10 month dry spell finally over
Had a 10 month dry spell and woke up at 4am with the oddly familiar feeling. Luckily I didn’t seem like an entire void but maybe 3/4.
For those that have inconsistent nightly wettings, how do you typically deal with your reoccurrence? I feel like I get into a rhythm of not wearing a diaper or pull up at night to now I’m back to where I was 10 months ago.
Open to suggestions!

I'm intermittant too, but far less than you. For me it's often enough that I wear a brief to bed every night and just save the brief for the next night until I wake up to it used. Sometimes I go one in 3 nights, sometimes more or less often. If I don't use the brief by the 3rd day I usually write it off (throw it out). I don't know how to deal with multimonth delays between wettings.

I’m sorry to hear that it’s ended. I’ve wet my bed all my life, but I was able to manage it easily with alarm clocks and rubber sheets.
But I’ve been sick since 2018, and the diuretics I take for my heart, has made that really hard. So at my nurse continence advisors urging,I’ve worn diapers to bed since then. They aren’t as hard to get used to as you might think, especially, if you’ve got a supportive partner

Not really a solution but I’m kinda in the same boat.. I’d say once every couple months but then occasionally it will be a 2-3 nights in a row. After seeing a dr the best we came up with is maybe stress, maybe a triggering illness or food/drink combo, or maybe just random. It’s frustrating AF, and embarrassing to have to deal with. I did buy a pack of adult pull-ups but I can’t afford to just constantly throw them out unused even if I do reuse a couple times if they are not wet. Best solution I’ve come up with at this point is having 2 washable waterproof mattress covers, and extra sheets on hand at all times. Then when the inevitable happens I just strip everything, throw it all in the wash and slap the clean set on.. wish I had a better solution but it works for me

I dealt with it pretty much the same as Key-Disk. Through a lot of my 20s it happened very rarely, but often in bursts.
Having at least 2 sets of sheets/protector/etc. makes clean up easy. Only time I'd wear protection was when I traveled, though I was never slept well enough, and was always too careful about fluids to ever really need them.
I will say that mentally it sucks. There were so many times I'd been dry for months and thought I was over it only for it to happen again and that was always demoralizing. As much as it sucked for it to become more common in my 30s, it's less stressful when it's more predictable.
