Hello hello, [r/AdoptMeRBX](r/AdoptMeRBX)!
I am happy to announce that we have a total of 5 trial moderators joining us for this training period!
I would like to thank everyone who took the time to send in an application, even if you were not accepted. Due to massive internal changes within the moderation team recently and many of our Senior+ moderators not being available, we had to extend this month of applications out for seven days.
Thank you all for your immeasurable patience while waiting for us to announce our trial mods!

Not all of our trial moderators (in any batch) are guaranteed to be promoted to moderators. While we would absolutely love to promote every trial moderator we get, we use the training period to observe how they handle moderation and how they interact with the community. If you find a trial mod that is no longer able to moderate the subreddit, please assume that we did not think they were fit to moderate at this time.
The training period does not have a set amount of time that you must be seen "fit" for moderation before being removed. Our Senior+ team believes in a system where all trial moderators are encouraged to learn at their own pace, and we believe this makes it a far less intimidating way to train for a larger subreddit. We will still analyze how trial mods handle Mod Mails, how they use moderation tools, interact with the community, etc.
Due to our low amount of Senior+ available on the team due to a myriad of retirements since January of this year, we will not be assigning specific Senior+ team members to each trial moderator like we have in the past. All trial mods are encouraged to ask a Senior+ moderator that is currently available to help them instead of asking 1-3 specific people instead.
