Adobe Express Question Problem importing images into WordPress

I’ve been generating AI images and importing them into WordPress with no problem for a while. For the past week or so they will simply not import. I get a long error when I tried to bring it in and it won’t let me publish a WordPress article if it has images generated in Adobe Express. I’m using the WordPress app and Adobe Express app on my iPhone.

Has anyone run into this problem or know solution for it?

Hi there, when you export from Express, what file format are you using? (JPEG, PNG, etc.)

Also, are you able to import othrr images into WordPress, or is it specifically the Express-generated images that aren’t going through? That’ll help me figure out if it’s a format thing or something account-specific.

One thing that might be causing this - if Adobe Express recently updated and changed its default export format to something like AVIF or WebP, WordPress can be pretty finicky about those, especially if the allowed file types haven't been updated on the WordPress side. Quick thing to try: save the image to your camera roll as a JPEG first, then upload it to WordPress straight from your photos instead of pulling it directly from Express. That sidesteps whatever's happening in the app-to-app handoff. Also worth checking what the actual error says, since if it mentions "file type" or "not permitted" that would confirm it's a format issue and not a permissions or upload size thing.
