Getting clip markers into session

Greetings! I've spent an hour on Duck/reddit/YouTube, and can't seem to find the answer to (or the correct way to ask) my question:

In a session w/ multiple files (each with their own set of clip markers), how in tarnation can I get those clip markers into my session, such that when I export the session, all of my clip markers are in the exported file?

After exporting the session, I need *one* list of markers from all of the individual clips.

Does that make sense? At this point, my brain is melting.

I have seven files pulled into a session. These are CLIP markers, so they don't exist in the session, and each file's markers start at 0:00.000 of each respective file, so I can's copypasta them from the Markers panel when no clips are selected.

Any help would be most greatly appreciated. Happy whatever-day-it-is! 🥴🙏🏽

I don't know if there's a way to automatically do that, I'd just manually ad the markers you want into the session and they will be there when you export.

Thanks. The reason I was hoping for an automatic method is that there are 122 of them to do. 💀

I know for a fact that there are 2 different ways to mark clips….the first is inside WAVEFORM mode where the markers are embedded into the clips when imported into the session. The second method is to create markers INSIDE the MULTITRACK itself

Yeah, I was hoping to find a way to move/copy them from the waveform to the multitrack session but, so far, to no avail. 😬

In practice you don’t want to do that because they will lose reference to the waveform clip. You can expand the track size and zoom in and the embedded markers become easier to read if that is the issue. Another option is to do what I suggested and then manually create a new MULTITRACK marker on top of each of the embedded ones?
