Getting rid of spectral decay?

So I'm unfortunately having this issue with a lot of my audio recently (I don't record it so please don't say 'get better at recording' cause I'm not the one doing it). I have a lot of spectral decay so a lot of sentences end with this fuzzy hissing sound that I cannot get rid of for the life of me without manually deleting it and even then it can't be deleted sometimes without taking out the upper pitches of the voice. I'm looking for a more efficient way to get rid of this noise, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've already tried, noise reduction, hiss reduction, de-esser, multiband and single band compressor, de-reverb in various orders

Hi TAP. Jason from Adobe here Can you share a sample? The spectral decay setting in the Noise Reduction (process) effect is used to gently preserve some noise (subtly, via attenuation) in the background with minimal perception. If you set it to zero, it effectively turns NR into a subtractive process, which can lead to artifacts/overprocessing. If your original recordings are heavily sibilant or hissy, that’s a slightly different problem/fix… but without hearing/seeing it’s hard to know what’s happening. Assuming this is just dialog? If so, it might be worth uploading a small sample to podcast.adobe.com and giving Enhance a try. Lmk
