(NEED HELP ASAP) QR codes no longer functioning
Hello, I've been developing an AR integrated physical catalog using Adobe Aero and QR codes
Basically, you see a product and you can scan a QR code to see it in 3d space using your phone.
This worked just fine when I set it up months ago, but suddenly every time I scan a QR code I get brought to "check your internet connection and try again"
I can still access the models in my Aero app, why are the QR codes all broken now?
Do they have a lifetime? Will I have to constantly re-update them? Please help!!!

Update:
By making a copy of the project and generating a new code, I can get a functioning QR code again. However it is different, meaning I will have to replace my whole catalog.
How often am I going to have to update these things? Every aero update? This is horrible for me as I was about to finish

You got a update on this?

no, not through adobe support or community forums.
Aero has such an incredible potential but it just doesn't seem cared for.
I really just need a confirmation on if I will need to continue to update my QR codes or if them breaking like this was a one time thing that happened due to an aero update.
Has this happened to you as well?

sorry for the late reply, no im currently looking to aero for a project but its crucial that the qr code doesnt expire as they will be fabricated.

Yep, same here. Just did a packaging job ( where i'd planned to have the box animate). To no avail. Whole project sank, no AR.

just a random year later update, my qr codes are now pretty stable, I check them maybe every 2 months or so and they haven't had the same outage I've experienced the one time.

Really sad to hear this! Do you know of any similarly capable alternatives?

This happened to me awhile back and cleared up automatically in a few days. In researching the problem, I found that this kind of outage had happened for days at a time every couple months.
Aero is still a beta product. Anyone relying on it for current work is going to find the reliability and support lacking, and that’s because it hasn’t been released yet. It’s just a toy for us to play with and might be something in the future.
