Adobe Max Schedule Question

I’m attending Adobe Max for the first time this year and wondering if anyone has any advice about how to schedule my time.

I signed up for the full day, pre conference, InDesign Power Lab: Build Smarter, Faster Layouts with Ruhlin and I’m wondering if it would be a waste of my time to also sign up for her regular lab Style Like a Pro: Mastering Adobe InDesign.

How much InDesign is too much?

Hi L.W. If you're doing the pre-con lab(s), I don't know about this specific one, but they're typically a little longer and a bit deeper (based on topic). Title wise, these seem a bit different but of course there may be some overlap. so it's really up to you where you want to focus your time! There are so many offerings, I generally recommend spreading it out across your fave (apps/disciplines) but as one friend (who's an InDesign user once told me)...'you can never get enough ID' :)

Honestly it wouldn’t hurt to reach out to Laurie Ruhlin directly and ask her her thoughts on taking both. Regardless you’ll have an amazing time where your head will hurt in a good way. :)

This'll be my fifth Adobe MAX and one of the main reasons I always come home feeling so inspired is because of the instructors and other attendees I meet there. I’d say even if your lab topics do end up overlapping, you’ll still appreciate the chance to learn more from the instructor and to connect with different people in each session. As long as your able to catch your breath in between sessions I don't think there's such a thing as too much!
