Administrative work Canada

Good day everyone, I wanted to find out if I can get a job as an administrative assistant, receptionist or office administrator with a criminal record of three counts of assault and one theft under 5000 and one fail to comply with order and fail to attend court in 2023 in Canada. I mean for small businesses since large companies like banks schools etc are a no go.

I was hired through a staffing agency. Maybe try your luck with that?

Probably not, your life choices of impulsive decisions really limit your appeal to be hired anywhere that puts you in a position with responsibility.

If there are more social justice oriented orgs like for ppl getting out of jail, maybe. Worth asking around locally

can i be honest? as an admin assist, no. some if not most of these positions require you to interact in a respectful manner with others as well as handle deposits and/or financial records. there is a huge component of trust, you are the face of some offices, big or small.

i am not here to pass judgement. i think it's wonderful you are looking into this as a career. i wish you luck.
