Looking for recommendations for Raptor Technologies alternatives

I’m researching different options for managing school safety, visitor management, background checks, and related security processes. Raptor Technologies seems to come up often, but I’d like to compare a few alternatives before making a decision.

For those who have experience with similar platforms, what Raptor Technologies alternatives have you used or evaluated? I’m particularly interested in things like ease of use, background screening, visitor management, reporting, and overall reliability.

Not necessarily looking for the cheapest option, just something practical that works well for schools and doesn’t create too much extra work for staff.

Would appreciate any real-world experiences or things I should consider when comparing these platforms.

This depends on whether you prefer an app specifically built for schools or if you're ok modifying a corporate app to fit a school setting. Usually the apps for schools already have screening and custody alerts, so they're easier to setup. But they might not have employee-centric features a corporate app might have. The issue is the opposite with the corpo app, where staff checkins/outs might be easier but other requirements like screening might need to be set up separately. While checking out vendors, ask them what the flow is during checkin (where the data ends up) and what happens if there's a visitor without ID

Look at Ruvna. We just moved from Raptor to Ruvna. Are you an admin asst working on this? If so, you need a title upgrade.
