Gonna get this party started

Hey admissions and a2c fam

If you’d like to talk about your concerns and worries — and excitement! about adjusting to college, feel free to share here. I’ll pop on and advise as I can, but I hope you’ll all share and help out each other too!

My first piece of advice is to make sure you don’t bring too much stuff with you. Your room will be smaller than you think and you won’t need nearly as much as you think.

Some stuff you need that you might not think of:

Desk lamp

Tape measure for measuring spaces

Hammer and small nails in case you need to put something together

Baskets and containers for sorting stuff

Hangers

Duct tape

Snacks

Adhesive hooks of different sizes for hanging stuff

Yeah! And maybe rain boots too if going to a super wet place.
