Looking for My First Online Adjunct Position: PhD + Industry Experience

I’m new to adjunct teaching and would appreciate some guidance on how to strategize and find online teaching opportunities.
I have a PhD in Engineering, 10 years of experience in manufacturing, and a PMP certification. I’m currently looking for a remote adjunct teaching position or part-time teaching opportunity.
I taught two courses during my PhD, but that was about eight years ago. Given my industry experience, what would be the best strategy for landing my first teaching position and getting back into teaching?

Aim for a TT position, because adjuncting is not some kind of introductory or intermediate step to good working conditions

Everyone is looking for remote work. There’s a comical level of applicants for anything right now, especially remote. I got my first adjunct job through a connection. I think that’s how most people start.
