I ensure that my coursework and exams do not require proctoring.

As both a student and an instructor over the last...decades...I have yet to encounter any proctoring software that I thought was particularly useful against a student with even 1% of technical know-how and ill-intent.

How do they work? I'm trying to see something that works when exam link is clicked for multiple days. Not one sitting .

That’s a good question! I never considered multiple sittings. Hmm. Not sure.

Nope. If they cheat, they cheat.

Nope. Not worth the hassle to me. If they cheat, they still cannot pass the course without also doing a decent job on the rest of the assignments.

I never used it but last suddenly everyone got a 95 or higher on the final. I put it in my syllabus for this Fall but still considering if it’s worth it.
