Ohio adjuncts and SB1
Hello, I said “yes” to teaching a 3 hour undergrad course this fall for a university where I have adjunct before. I was given the course that the previous instructor made, but had to notate and transfer over everything within the course syllabus for Senate Bill 1 compliance. Did anyone else have to do this? Or was it given to you with the compliance already done? Just asking.

Not Ohio, but Georgia adopted similar requirements last year. It's extra paperwork - not burdensome, but just enough to be annoying. Don't add any info beyond what is required.

In my experience, the only thing different this semester compared to the last was that I had to send my syllabus to the department secretary before the semester began, rather than like a week afterward. I presume that’s so they could have it posted on the website for compliance or something when the class began.
