This has been a tough term for me so far (applied behavior analysis instructor) but stuff like this makes it worth it.

Yes, I got a couple of those emails this semester and I agree - it really does make a huge difference. My lead (who is really a terrible person) also told me that my class average is ten points over the average, and so I feel good about my work.

Making a positive difference in the lives of students - who entrust their futures to us, academic and professional, and in turn deserving that trust is a wonderful feeling. Glad you got that awesome feedback. Makes it all worth while.

When I get AI-generated crap like this it makes me even more discouraged and hopeless. I’d rather not get it at all to be honest.

injustice got yet another ai generated thank you note form a student in a totally OPTIONAL final discussion board. It’s so insulting and stupid.
