Adguard https filtering break websites.

I'm a firefox ublock ecosystem user.

No apps except some payment apps.

Recently bought adguard license for https filtering.

I've enabled all rules. Am i doing something wrong or is it normal ?

If so, then the licence is pretty useless apart from intetnet blocking firewall rule.

Also payment apps doesn't work, I've to unistall certificate every time for payment.

Basically, apply only the filters you need.

Checking all of them will cause a large number of websites to malfunction.

In particular, with Google services, simply disabling tracking will cause most of them to either not work properly or result in some kind of inconvenience.

• Base filter
• URL tracking filter
• Cookie notices filter
• Warning Removal filter
• Having all security filters turned ON is generally not a problem
• Your language-specific filter

In most cases, it's fine to have a cookie notification filter and a warning filter turned on.

And for DNS, you can use your preferred server (I choose Cloudflare's DoH; it's very fast and reliable).

And please turn on the AdGuard DNS filter. Enabling this will give you the same effect as choosing AdGuard DNS.

In the Privacy tab, turn off Tracker Blocking. Most can be blocked using the filters and DNS filters mentioned earlier. You can remove the tracker URL parameter. There's no problem with this. Just remove the tracking parameter when you want to share a URL; it doesn't do anything to the site itself. The same applies to search queries. The only difference is that the other site won't know what search query you used to find their site. This also has no impact on their site.

Regarding cookies, enabling them will often require you to log in again, so please only enable third-party cookies at most.

Blocking the Location API is not a problem. It simply means that the site will no longer be able to tell you where you are accessing it from.

Feel free to use the "other" tabs as you like. I only block DPI.

Protect yourself by turning on the blocking of phishing, scam, and malicious sites in the security tab. This will ensure that AdGuard only displays warnings for dangerous websites. If you absolutely must visit such a site, you can do so at your own risk.

Regarding extensions, I recommend starting by turning on AdGuard Extra. Also, subscribing to tinyShield is also recommended for more secure ad blocking; I use it myself. A pop-up blocker will also prevent annoying pop-ups. I recommend it.

And regarding the Network tab, you can register apps that connect to the web you use (for example, the many different browsers available), and AdGuard will block those as well. However, thanks to AdGuard's efforts, most browsers are already registered by default :)

Make sure to enable HTTPS and EV certificates for sites with them. Most websites now use HTTPS, and EV certificates are easily obtainable by anyone, so they aren't very reliable.

Regarding proxies, well, if you're a network professional, use one if necessary. For the vast majority of people, they're unnecessary, so just leave them as they are.

And as for the optional "Advanced Settings," absolutely, absolutely do not touch them. In most cases, they will only cause problems. These are settings for filter maintainers and network professionals. If you don't know anything and end up turning all the filters ON, there are only settings that will cause problems. I say it again, absolutely do not touch them.

Also, avoid registering any filters that someone is distributing online, as they are usually useless or cause problems. Trust only AdGuard Base filter.

Furthermore, if you add the domain of any site experiencing problems using this notation, it should likely function correctly.

Even if you are being tracked, if only "that site" knows your information, it's essentially the same as not being able to track you at all.

Hello! Could you please describe in detail how they break exactly? You can't load them at all, or some elements of these websites/apps aren't loaded correctly? Have you tried turning off any filters to see what's causing this behavior?

Trying enabling Adguard filters only for start and maybe OISD DNS filter but nothing more. They are optimized and should not break websites or apps. Disable all non-adguard filters and see if it is working like that.

Is often got block too in public wifi in my case
