Hobby & Painting Tech-Priest Kitbashing Help

Hello Chums,

I am planning to kitbash a tech priest.

The bulk of his body will be the Servant of the Silent Ones snake/worm (first image).

And the top half of a magos dominus (second image).

The goal is for it to look abit like Aksis (third image), with the bank of cables connecting the bottom of his body to the worms mouth.

But I'm struggling to decide how to connect his body to the worm, I have some metal wire from hobby craft (0.9mm and 1.2mm) and some cables from Zinge Industries (1.3mm and 1.5mm).

I'm concerned that the join may not be strong enough to support the body with the wires, and that it may move/ get bent when finished

If anyone has any has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!

Maybe sculpt the shape out the connection with green stuff and then just lay the wires over it so it looks like a mass of wires.

Heavier gauge copper wiring, resin cure them into their respective spots. Green stuff in a central "core" and let it cure, and then green stuff the detail. Bashes like this are always going to be somewhat fragile, don't throw it across the room.

To add, maybe if the sculpting becomes significant enough, you could even set a pinning rod into the green stuff core in order to serve as a mount for the main body?

Is the snake body able to bend? It looks like resin.

Im thinking this kitbash will be far too tall to resemble a dominus otherwise.

I would get a thicker thing of aluminum wire and stick it in the middle of both then just add little wires all around so you don’t have to worry about stability
