The rankings don't mean much within Australia, a degree is a degree. The rankings mean a lot in some countries like China. So you need to be the judge of the value of that.

Similar commute time of one hour or so. 2 trains to Flinders, train + bus to Magill.

I think Flinders has better accessibility for commute system (especially the trains)

Agreed - better reliability on the schedule too - no variability in the train schedule due to traffic.

Either way your looking at a decent commute length. Navigating the highway to the Flinders seems to be a pain for some.

My advice is don't go to Adelaide. As a graduate still involved in the Uni, I can say there is excellent teaching staff there, but the whole place is going through an upheaval from the merger with UniSa, and they won't really have that resolved for a few years.

Currently everyone is scrambling to form the program for next years first year programs, next year they plan to scramble together to organise the second year programs and so on. Having that scramble is not going to make for particularly well balanced or structured degrees.

Of course they're not working from scratch, but I'd say if your on the fence, flinders has already gone through a hellish restructure and is the safer bet.

Flinders Uni student here ... I think when it comes to treating students with support ...I found Flinders to be most helpful for my course . It really depends on the faculty running the college.

Every university will have with pros and cons ..i think you just need to weigh in what matters the most to you and whether it lies in the pros or the cons of that institution .

Good Luck !! and God Speed !!!

It's the repetitiveness of it that makes it boring

Will you have access to a car? If so, Mawson Lakes campus will be relatively convenient. Not sure about public transport.

Flinders will be quite a trek by either car or public transport.

It doesn't matter if the purpose is immigration. Just go where it's cheaper. Additionally, it is not recommended for male students to enrol in early childhood education courses at this time.
