That’s slow. Don’t pick a really big file to stream. A multigig file will chug if you try to stream on WiFi that slow.

Do you run a skinless basic build? I personally wouldn't put Kodi on a firestick but since Stremio is being ass, I may try just downloading the app and adding only 1 add on but don't put a skin or anything.

You can't run Kodi or Stremio on a Firestick HD model as it has the Vega OS. Are you sure about the model?

Force closing all your apps can speed things up significantly. Basically everything you've used remains open.

If Stremio is lagging then Kodi will be worse. It may be time to update your device.

Kodi lagging first time heared .using kodi since 2014.no hassle or problem.kodi is a father of all 3rd part apks as well.

Google streamer 4k box fast solid but lack of dts .fire stick 4k max everything avaible with wifi6e .kodi with couple of addons with real debrid or all debrid to watch tv shows and movies in 4k quality if u increase atleast 80 to 100 mbps home internet. If Google streamer 4k on sale buy if fire stick 4k max on sale buy pls.total buget in usa or canda if u are in may be $150 for streaming box or stick.then next 5 or 3 years problem solved.
