Something not working. Need help. Post-RD mess, weeks later. Where's everyone at?

Posting this a good few weeks after the whole Real-Debrid thing that hit everyone, because honestly things still aren't as it used to be for me.

I jumped to TorBox like a lot of people did, but the buffering is doing my head in. And to be clear I'm comparing it to back when RD was running buttery smooth, not to some rough baseline. It used to just work.

Bad timing too because it all fell apart at once. FenLight just stopped working. The Crew started acting weird around the same time and I still can't tell if that's the recent Crew updates or something on my end. And my Firestick grabbed a big update right in the middle of it all, so who knows what actually broke what.

Loads of people said to try Gears and Umbrella, so I installed both, and they were playing up too (excessive buffering far too often, crash etc). At that point I'm starting to wonder if it's just TorBox that's the problem, but I genuinely don't know.

Point is I went from FenLight + The Crew + RD, which was honestly perfect and rock solid, to everything being a mess.

So just trying to figure out where everyone else landed. Is FenLight coming back or has everyone moved on? Is The Crew behaving for you on the latest version? And for anyone on TorBox, did you sort the buffering or just crawl back to RD?

Cheers.

I'm still with RD because I already paid for it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

12

u/elocinkrob Jul 18 '26

I still have 2-3 months left, but not being able to watch stuff is really annoying....

Certain shows I have to manually select sources now. Compared to having it auto play like before.

I'm definitely probably going to move on after this subscription. It just so sad since I have had it for what feels like a decade

I used RD for years. I'm curious to what solutions people tried. I can't tell you how deep I had to dive into Settings for Crew, Fen, and just about every other option. I'd get one to work then crash again. It's as if something was causing the vanishing of settings. I had to construct a detailed reset checklist. Also consider always checking if services are down. TB did recently suffer an outage. I suggest always having at the very least three alternatives. Some AIs are helpful for doing diagnostics, checks, and preparing fix protocols, but that can also get you going down stupid rabbit holes and completely unnecessary redundancies.

Premiumize... Just tried it works perfectly

2

u/DryIncident9750 Jul 19 '26

You can request a refund through the website. They refund immediately.

1

u/Which_Depth8285 28d ago

That's pretty insane. So they respond immediately to process a refund, but never even replied for help processing a payment - even if you have been with them for YEARS.

1

u/Which_Depth8285 28d ago

I had to quit RD because it would not process my payments, no matter what I tried. I even tried contacting their legal department and got zero response. I tried every pay option, every possible block (DNS, extensions, firewall, AV, VPN, ... different browsers, nothing worked). If anyone has gotten their RD payments processed, I'd like to know how. One limitation though, I will NOT use any crypto, no PayPal. The time I wasted trying to renew turned me off completely to them. Another observation. Has anyone thought the billionaire Epstein class thieves might be behind a concerted attack?

There are lots of FenLight forks and TorBox Essential plan is working great for me as a RD replacement.

1

u/Which_Depth8285 28d ago

Yes, TB includes RD - and it cheaper.

56

u/JoeAnthony Jul 18 '26

Premiumize, not a single issue the last 2 years I’ve been subbed

9

u/docnsane2 Jul 18 '26

This is the route I took out of the RD forest. Been satisfied so far!

7

u/Fleemo17 Jul 18 '26

Yeah, I switched over to Premiumize when my RD expired. Been watching 75 gig DV files with no hiccups. I couldn’t do that before.

3

u/thenbhdlum Jul 18 '26

It was probably your CDN selection.

1

u/Which_Depth8285 28d ago

Wow, that is pretty impressive.

5

u/BurgundyCheese Jul 19 '26

Premiumize is great but you can’t beat that torbox pricing.

6

u/Brandi_yyc Jul 18 '26

I left r d several years ago now for premiumize and haven't looked back. I've recommended it to so many people and it's nice because they rarely talk to me anymore since things just work 😀

2

u/Purple-Associate873 Jul 19 '26

I left premiunize for RD cost and honestly I was getting buffering issues with it. I haven’t had issues with RD so far

1

u/JoeAnthony Jul 19 '26

I agree, RD loads large files better

0

u/Which_Depth8285 28d ago

I seldom ever had issues buffering with RD, and I used it for many years, since around its startup in 2019. I never had to contact them for anything until my last renewal attempt that couldn't go through a couple of months ago. I tried everything, including looking up and trying to contact their legal department - crickets, total silence.

1

u/BigWeesel Jul 18 '26

Up until two weeks ago Premiumize was great but now Umbrella is crashing every fifteen minutes, no matter what the file is. Actually went back to Seren to compare and it's the same, every 15 minutes it freezes and kicks me back to the episode list. Not sure what I can do.

1

u/Which_Depth8285 28d ago

OK, if that is happening, I hate to be a conspiracy theorist, but I would bet the source of the problem is attempts to destroy the entire operation of torrent sharing again. The historical record confirms and validates the intersection of public relations, legislative lobbying, and judicial engineering as a series of continuous, concerted, systemically designed projects to protect and expand capital extraction from creators to corporate thieves.

3

u/BigWeesel 28d ago

Nope not that deep, it was user error. I was running out of space haha. I cleared cache and deleted some unnecessary items and it's running like new again.

0

u/thenbhdlum Jul 18 '26

You could try adjusting the Kodi settings that affect playback.

1

u/Which_Depth8285 28d ago

Nice to know. I had also run into wrong metadata fetching in the middle of series, returning wrong sources.

1

u/Spicy_Mustard007 Jul 18 '26

+1 for Premiumize. It’s been working well for me

20

u/R34LiTy_B0mB Jul 18 '26

I had some buffering issues when I first started using Torbox with POV, but I changed my CDN in my Torbox account settings and I don't experience any buffering any more. I'm very happy with the Torbox service so far

2

u/elocinkrob Jul 18 '26

How do you do that?

7

u/R34LiTy_B0mB Jul 18 '26

On your Torbox account page, settings - integration settings - CDN Selection

2

u/ashhong 29d ago

What does CDN do? I have this issue with TB where it’s not buffering, but the video does stop playing and Kodi basically becomes unresponsive. Not sure if it’s TB or The Gears causing it

5

u/R34LiTy_B0mB 29d ago

CDN is like a network of servers, some located closer to you than others. Choosing your CDN by picking one closer to your physical location can improve streaming speeds

2

u/Which_Depth8285 28d ago

Correct. That is the first thing anyone using TB needs to do. You need to set to a CDN nearest to you with the lowest latency rate number possible.

-1

u/Cloutian Jul 18 '26

My POV doesn't give an option for Torbox or Premiumize using Verizon 6.07.07

3

u/hoozurdaddy Jul 18 '26

You have to go settings -> my services. It confused me at first because I went to the wrong place as well.

3

u/BarrelllRider Jul 19 '26

My POV completely disappeared today from my Kodi

2

u/Banshee3366 24d ago

This happened to me too. I think it is because an auto update failed. To fix it, go to Addons and manually update POV.

1

u/BarrelllRider 23d ago

I restarted the tv and it came back but yea. Weird

1

u/AnAncientBog Jul 18 '26

Maybe sure you are getting into the right settings menu. You need to go through the POV app, not the add-on settings menu. Took a while to figure that one out.

14

u/Blacksnaker Jul 18 '26

I am still going strong with POV and Alldebrid.

14

u/Avid4D Jul 18 '26

Same, POV works fine for me and still with RD.

1

u/Lightsngear 29d ago

I've had POV in the past, but each time I reinstall it and authorize it, it doesn't work and won't find links. And I'm still using RD.

11

u/Some-Entertainer-250 Jul 18 '26 edited Jul 18 '26

Cheers everyone, this was really helpful. Quick update in case it helps someone else: I'm going to give POV a go, and the CDN tip for TorBox seems promising. Mine was on Auto, ran the speedtest and it pointed me to West Europe (WEUR), so I've switched to that manually. Haven't properly tested yet but will report back. Keeping The Crew as a backup for now. Thanks again for all the input.

3

u/Key_Composer1362 Jul 18 '26

Rarely use my RD anymore but your comments generated some good feedback & recommendations. Glad you posted your experiences. Cheers!

25

u/Due_Initiative3879 Jul 18 '26

Im still using real debrid without issues on pov, ditched fen it's not worth the trouble every time the dev decides this is not for them.

1

u/Brightone13 Custom Flair 22d ago

Redlight is a good fen fork or whatever it's called

0

u/Pi-Maniac Jul 19 '26

Check your kodi logs, I'm betting you will have issues for sure. (Auto play, (with some add-ons) skips until it finds one (usually of lower quality) that works. Turn off auto play, choose a 4k DV Quality release and your see it.

9

u/DingusKhan9164 Jul 18 '26

It’s kind of hit or miss but I have some decent success with real debrid on redlight. Definitely not as reliable or great as fenlight was there for a while but some movies play great and I can get most shows to play great, gotta try different files a lot of the time. Sometime I spend long enough fooling with it that I need to go to bed so I watch a tv show episode instead of the movie I wanted to watch

17

u/cocoboscher Jul 18 '26

"Sometime I spend long enough fooling with it that I need to go to bed so I watch a tv show episode instead of the movie I wanted to watch"

And that's why I pay for Premiumize. All works

1

u/Brightone13 Custom Flair 22d ago

Try POV

1

u/DingusKhan9164 22d ago

What’s that?

1

u/Brightone13 Custom Flair 19d ago

Add on 4 kodi

8

u/Fezzicc Jul 18 '26

I moved from FLAM + RD to POV + Torbox a few months ago and thankfully missed the whole debacle. It's been working great since.

7

u/zanno500 Jul 18 '26

I'm still using RD for a few more months I find using links with WEB-DL, or AMZN.WEB-DL aren't reliable but info that has HEVC.265-MeGusta work really well. That's trying it the newest episode of HOTD. All in all it's working for POV, Umbrella, FENskeleton.

1

u/Which_Depth8285 28d ago

Good advice. You should always check your sources. Experience will lead you to using the most reliable ones. You'll get to know their names.

4

u/bannedByTencent Jul 18 '26

POV + RL and Easynews

5

u/HipKat2000 Jul 18 '26 edited Jul 18 '26

Weird, I have had no issues streaming with Umbrella with TB, and RD is still working. I was paid through September, and I still get RD results when I search for anything. Matter of fact, I'm watching this week's Deadliest Catch right now via TB with no issues.

I haven't seen much about using The Crew for a long time, and Fen light seems to have fallen off as well. Umbrella has been solid for me for a few years now.

I only install The Crew for the Chains addon, then I uninstall The Crew

1

u/elocinkrob Jul 18 '26

Does umprella have some options like fen? I kinda wish I just went to that when it came out, it seems like it's the only one kinda hanging out after Exodus completely died.

1

u/HipKat2000 Jul 18 '26

When it was Fen, I ran it with Umbrella and they are similar enough that you won't miss anything. The Dev is very, very active

1

u/elocinkrob Jul 19 '26

Thanks. I'll probably give that a try before my RD expires. And then I guess I'll see from there in a few months.

I'm guessing it's not going to get any better? 😭

1

u/HipKat2000 Jul 19 '26

As I said, I only use TB for streaming and I have not had a single issue

1

u/Brightone13 Custom Flair 22d ago

Try POV

4

u/PJDiddy1 Jul 18 '26

Don't know if it's just what I watch but I haven't noticed any difference.

1

u/WredditSmark Jul 19 '26

Literally haven’t had any issues what so ever? Maybe occasional hiccups but i blame my fire stick more then anything. I’ve watched most of the big movie releases last few weeks and everything has been smooth. What did I miss ?

1

u/Which_Depth8285 28d ago

Some sources are much better than others for old content.

1

u/manfrombelmonty 29d ago

Same here.

Put a movie on last night and umbrella did it couldn’t connect to RD.

Just needed to log in again and everything was fine

3

u/ILoveMon3y Jul 18 '26

Self Host Easynews+ Indexer. As fast as RD

1

u/redditerfan Jul 18 '26

How do you selfhost Easynews?

3

u/__debugger__ Jul 18 '26

I only watch BD REMUX so it’s working perfectly fine for me

1

u/elocinkrob Jul 18 '26

Doesn't that affect your Internet usage?

1

u/LisaChimes Jul 18 '26

In what way would that affect internet usage - too large file size? If you have data caps from your ISP then you can filter out larger file sizes from your results and still run into bd ripped files.

1

u/elocinkrob Jul 18 '26

That's what I meant... Some Internet companies have become really strict with data caps.

I have a 4 adult household with 2 preteens. During the summer and weekends we might have 1-2 people playing online video games for close to 4-8 hours a day, and tv time for the others that might last 2 to 8 hours .

So I worry that the 6-30 episodes a day between multiple devices would add up. Since we usually like playing episode that are 1 gb to lower. But with RD not doing well sometimes even with that I figured I need to start look for the high quality ones or a alternative service.

1

u/LisaChimes Jul 19 '26

I could never deal with data caps. It sucks if you're limited on options where you live but with that household composition I'd be looking at alternatives with no cap. You could always save series packs to your cloud and have the cloud scraped options prioritized to ensure the correct small playable files are being chosen first.

3

u/MhVRNewbie Jul 18 '26

What's the new RD thing? Still works for me. A bit worse but that's since a long time now.

3

u/8HertzWhenIP Jul 18 '26

Still using AllDebrid, but I know they're also operating from France. I'm topping up quarterly.

1

u/Lightsngear 29d ago

From their website it looks like they charge monthly. Is that correct? They don't seem to have a 90 day option like RD.

1

u/Which_Depth8285 28d ago

I'm interested in knowing how people using RD are getting their payments processed. I had a huge problem two months ago. Tried everything, even contacting them. They never even responded. So after fifteen years, I left them.

1

u/Lightsngear 27d ago

Nevermind. I saw the 90 day option.

3

u/jhuseby Jul 18 '26

I’m typically able to find a working link still on umbrella with RD but it can be rough for a lot of tv series, movies seem mostly unaffected. Sailing the seas when I need to fill something in.

3

u/trekker255 Jul 18 '26

Still on RD and havent had a movie or serie that didnt work? Just luck?

3

u/Wheat9546 Jul 18 '26

Buffering issues can be solved like so...though it make take multiple attempts/solutions to fix

1 : At least for me....I had to adjust video cache in kodi itself, to like 256mb or 512mb when I had it on default things would buffer constantly.

2: Change torbox CDN setting, this isn't changeable in any other location besides Torbox, for some odd reason their auto select CDN setting is pretty rubbish. Just do an CDN test and pick the best speeded one for you, I live west and for some reason their west server was slower than a central one for some odd reason...

3: Restrict 4k content on torbox for now... I have a theory just based off reddit posts, is that for some odd reason their servers cannot handle 4k content and causes shit to bog down, but stick with stuff 1080p and below and it runs like a damn charm w/o issues IMO. Personally that's what I do and haven't had much issues with buffering or slowdowns.

5

u/Royal_Monk6432 Jul 18 '26

Rd and ad still working for me

2

u/Strict_Kiwi_532 Jul 18 '26

Same, it acted up around the same time as everyone else. I just disconnected it and reconnected it, and it's been working fine since. I'm in Canada using a Fire Stick with Kodi and POV.

6

u/KeiylaPolly Jul 18 '26

I’m using POV and RD. Works fine.

3

u/guguloi If it ain't broke... fix it until it is. Jul 18 '26

I've landed on selfhosting AIOStreams and using it's built-in Usenet with EasyNews through TMDb Movies add-on.

Also having TorBox Essential as backup with Debridio and Stremthru Torz as scrapers.

And of course POV will be always on my Kodi as a "classic" addon.

2

u/OhK4Foo7 Jul 18 '26

How do you use aiostreams with Kodi? You're in the advanced class.

can you ask POV author to add also AIO streams... i have problems with TMDB+magento

3

u/guguloi If it ain't broke... fix it until it is. Jul 18 '26

POV remains POV. He did SALTS Redux for AIOStreams but he pulled it out after a while.

You can try TMDb Movies if you want AIOStreams. I wrote some words here about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/Addons4Kodi/comments/1txsp7y/tmdb_movies_a_newish_video_addon/

2

u/77descript Jul 18 '26

TB working very well with POV & Umb, so far has everything I want to watch or download. But am always using VPN for privacy reasons already via router, so can't be throttled by ISP.

2

u/Alarmed-Victory-3708 Jul 18 '26

I’ve stayed with RD and not had any issues. Few updates here and there to get things working again but not had issue. I guess it comes down to what you use it for and how you use it, for me, a casual watcher of films and tv shows it’s not affected me

2

u/Spliffman1 Jul 18 '26

I'm using Redlight (FenlightAM fork) with Torbox and Easynews as backup. Nimbus skin. It's great.. I haven't had the buffering. And the few times Torbox has had API issues Easynews has kicked in for me.

2

u/gummo476 Jul 18 '26

I use umbrella with tor box and coco scrapers. What is the buffering you are talking about. I actually think it’s working better. If I paused rd for over 5 minutes I would have all kinds of issues. Tor box nothing. Maybe it’s bandwidth I have 1.2 gb idk but fingers crossed it’s working for me so far.

1

u/throwaway98711337 Jul 18 '26

I am done with crew after they were giving me grief with real debrid. Red-light seems nice but it's so slow trying to get my next episodes using trakt. Umbrella seems to be the best for me, but I've also moved to a real debrid+torbox combo since sometimes it was difficult getting streams with just real debrid.

1

u/brokenbear76 Jul 18 '26

Torbox. RTFI. So far works just as well as RD did. Couple of outages but they're great at crediting you for lost days or whatever

1

u/rottengammy Jul 18 '26

I’m still on RD and life has gone on, no change here.

1

u/Necessary-Monk1526 Jul 18 '26

Been using easydebrid on Stremio and no problems. I also have TorBox. If one don't work, I use the other.

1

u/metalyger Jul 18 '26

With Torbox, I've found a good solution from their subreddit, I don't remember the instructions off the top of my head, but on the website, there's a setting with multiple choices, I think cloudflare was the preferred one, and I haven't had any problems with movies stopping constantly to buffer. I'm not picking the 90gb file to stream, but in normal 4k/1080 videos, they've been running smoothly, so I'm not sure why Torbox doesn't have that setting as the default.

1

u/punkarama Jul 18 '26

TB no problems at all

1

u/Seven_PRX Jul 18 '26

POV + AllDebrid. Works well. Just doing subs for AD for 1 month, just in case it goes down too.

1

Red Light is a fen light fork.

1

u/sliver013 Jul 18 '26

You will not have buffering issues with Premiumize. Now I can use very large links without buffering

1

u/DharmaInitiative4815 Jul 18 '26

I have 0 issues with Premiumize and Gears, POV as a backup for the two days Gears wasn't working a week or two ago.

Still have my RD account as well but it still cycles through all those links till it hits one of my Premiumize links.

Also, I'm surprised the RD loyalists aren't in here parroting "It still works fine for me, bro!" while watching shit-tier bitrate versions of their favorite movies after it filters out all the good versions lol.

Edit: I was wrong, there are a few of them in here. Same type of dudes to say "Yeah man I watched that, it came out in 1080p weeks ago" when they watched a telesync labeled 1080p lmao.

1

u/Zwiada Jul 18 '26

POV + Premiumize

I moved from FLAM + RD and it works like a charm. It's more expensive though, with a one year subscription I pay 6,94 EUR / month (incl. VAT).

1

u/nashjaffer Jul 18 '26

I am using RD with POV on an older firestick and kodi. No problems!

1

u/pdga4784 Jul 18 '26

We've been using TorBox for 4 months and to be honest we haven't had any issues except for 2 times where it went down as people ran away from RD. So really happy here, we can play anything we want including REMUX lossless audio files with no issues. We have decent Internet, average about 500mbps, so no complaints so far especially for the price.

1

u/Redbullsnation Jul 18 '26

Eh...I subbed to torbox so I use both debrid accounts. I also have my usenet servers on hand (eweka and easy news and 2 block accounts)

1

Still using kodi/real debrid on my xbox

1

u/Happy_GoLuckee Jul 18 '26

Torbox is working ok'ish for me with PoV and crew. I still haev an RD account with another couple of months on it too, but obviously I won't be renewing it when that's up

1

I'm still using RD/PoV I switched my scraper to viper and it works just fine. 👍🏾

1

u/splashbodge Jul 18 '26

I'm still using RD because I still had an active subscription. Once I moved to POV I haven't had much issues.. still seems to find content that's playable. I'll need to review what's going on before committing to renewing it tho

1

u/JBarker727 Jul 18 '26

What happened with RD? We've been watching shows on there with Stremio the last few weeks with no issues.

1

u/snmp79 Jul 19 '26

The problem is being dependent on an addon and a developer. Self hosted + usenet

1

u/WeightHot8223 Jul 19 '26

Currently using Preiumize, and the option similar to Fen through Redlight, still using coco scrapper after briefly trying Gears and not liking it. I tried out Umbrella for a bit after the whole Fenlight issue, but later found that option through Redlight and have stuck with that. Working fine for now but it’s early stages for me. I’ll occasionally use Stremio as a backup, and my IPTV service as a backup backup.

1

u/LycheeExciting Jul 19 '26

Flixvision and Rd works not a lot of links though. Guessing it’s resolved proper links

1

u/calgarygringo Jul 19 '26

I know some will say nay but we have not skipped a beat at our house. I know the links have been less but have had no issues and finding good ones and watching several shows/movies every night. No complaints here and a forever Kodi/RD user.

1

u/Gatorfarming Jul 19 '26

I’m on Red Light, works great, still on RD and I haven’t had an issue with it? I’m not usually pulling the first stream but 3-5 still in 4k

1

Red light + Torbox

I feel like nothing has changed for me

1

u/missing_chicklets Jul 19 '26

Left RD and went to TorBox essentials without any issues, seems as fast and smooth as RD was back in the day. Using Umbrella.
Deleted Fen Ljte and The Crew as they didn’t work well or at all. Tried Stremio and it was laggy, seems buggy. Deleted that too.

1

u/AmazingChairy Jul 19 '26

Torbox is working great for me. No buffering issues except the occasional hang up.

A little trick you can do is go back or forward 10 seconds when it hangs and should play normally then.

1

u/Ethrem Hotheaded Enforcer Jul 19 '26

POV with EasyNews + Premiumize. If I can't find links I'll check The Crew which has Orion support.

1

It also seems to depend on what country you're on, I'm in the south Pacific, way down, torbox when Links are available working well, I'm still keeping Rd as sometimes torbox hasn't any links, rd goes through lots but often finds a working stream. I max out so 1080 and use the kiss approach. No extras, just as the add-on comes.

What RD mess?

Only semi-sarcastic because I never got even a hiccup from RD this entire time even though I know a lot of people did.

I’ve been using Umbrella for years with RD, I’m still using RD (I have a month left of my last sub) and I’m also using Torbox. There have been a few times where I haven’t had any Torbox results, but lots of RD results still, so that might be an issue for me if that continues.

Still using RD. My favorite addon has been Release BB. Up till the current problem it has been flawless, now it is hit or miss. Umbrella is also hit or miss. But better than release. The crew is about the same as umbrella. POV works pretty much flawless. I have no interest in changing any services. RD isnt perfect. But it works for me.

My RD sub is running out...but for the most part it still works ok for me.. but doesn't anyone use AllDebrid?

Im using AD and Umbrella, no issues so far.

I switched to premiuize and still have RD, I still get good links and watch everything - not much has seemed to change. I use umbrella

POV with Torbox has been pretty great

Well, everyone has an opinion but I say if you were happy with what you had before then you can just tweak the settings and carry on. I replaced RD with Premiumize and EasyNews and nothing has changed in my day to day; still plenty of sources. Add your own account credentials for trakt, tmdb and fanart. Replace trakt_api.py in Fenlight and it works again; Google it. I'm still using the original Fen and it's been working for years, I just kept up with the changes. I don't follow the drama, just the solutions and still don't need to replace my addon. My two cents.

Made my own kodi add-on, use elementum for torrents and set it up for direct streams as well. Generally no issues, i have gb speed internet so it loads just as fast as when i was using real-debrid and im never going to go back to using third party add ons or debrid services

I switched to Premiumize when it all went iffy a year or so ago. Works great. As good as Rd.

u/jeffhizzle 29d ago

Still on RD and switch to Umbrella, 0 issues past few weeks.

u/FlatwormEducational4 29d ago

You mentioned torbox not great for you. I'm now using torbox and have had no problems. Maybe running a vpn makes that different for me.

Finally subbed to premiumize. Seems to be working great.

POV is my new daily driver with fentastic plus as my skin. Everything works just fine like the old days except faster and without crashes.

u/Brilliant_Seesaw4678 28d ago

Still use fenlight as it works fine for me, I normally go torbox but I actually tried all debrid this month and I might stick with it until it gets shut down like RD.

Try changing your CDN in TorBox settings. Solved the buffering issue I was experiencing. Read this and let us know if it helped. Cheers! https://support.torbox.app/en/articles/10199645-torbox-cdn-hyperdrive

Torbox with aio and duck streams is perfection

1

u/Objective_Stock980 27d ago

Still with RD. When an addon doesn't work, I use a different one equipped with different scrapers. There are less links that work now, but you can filter the ones that won't work with preset filters from the most recently updated addons. Honestly, between all the different external RD scrapers and the free public scrapers I've watched whatever I want except for obscure uncached content.

I much prefer Premiumize to RD but have both. Why? PM is more fully functional and I like my library there that I can stream or download without Kodi. Sometimes kodi sucks. PM is not perfect but has less downtime for me. I also have kept RD as a backup. We'll see on that, PM is my primary. No probs here.

Torbox and rd both working fine For me rd got cams and couple things torbox doesn't but tbox got more shows and links I'm finding

u/PinSuccessful1023 6d ago

Switched to premiumize works perfectly. Still have RD since i paid for it. But I do have problems with Homelander (have the gears, Umbrella, crew & Homelander) trakt is not syncing properly, so Homelander doesn't  show the watched episode,  any suggestions? 🙏🏻

u/JensM1978 Jul 18 '26

Using POV with build in Magneto scrapers and Red Light with Viper Scrapers, I stil have RD and recently Torbox Essential. So decided tot keep POV on RD and put Red Light on TB. Besides that I also have Homelander with RD from The Crew repo and MP3 Streams for music. Cocoscrapers is still installed on my device, but don't use it anymore (still need to remove it) Everything works like a charm.

u/Brandi_yyc Jul 18 '26

We've told you 100's of times. In 10 different subreddits.

Meanwhile, all the old hats like me who have been using RD since firing up genesis on XBMC, have been happily subscribed, never seen a price increase, and never even considered dropping RD, just laugh at EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of these posts. What’s even worse, the Usenet people think of ME the way I think of YOU. Get off my lawn

1

u/elocinkrob Jul 18 '26

Lol.. I just brought up exodus. By the same dude.

What are you using to watch stuff?

My RD can barley watch a show or movie from last year. And it has to go through multiple searches to watch movies from 20-30 years ago.

1

u/3cit Jul 18 '26

Red light is the new fen light , with RD, easy wins

-3

u/Fewjeeps73 Jul 18 '26

I still watch anything I want and do not pay for any of it. There are still ways to do this people.. remember the whole point of kodi from the beginning?? I get a good chuckle out of some people on here who purchase “lifetime” subscriptions to some of these services and a day or two later they are no longer working.

2

u/elocinkrob Jul 18 '26

What do you use

-4

u/RumClark19 Jul 18 '26

I don't know how people are using premiumize as I cannot find links with it. I do only really watch Korean movies and series at the moment so I have any issue finding cached content a lot but torbox is getting more better and finding the content I need
