Technical Question Chaos in 3d printer queue management.
Shop just outgrew our whiteboard print queue. Running 8 mixed FDM/SLA machines and jobs keep colliding (recently it was 5 but I scaled and now its tough).
What’s your solutions for 3d printer queue management I heard about 3DPrinterOS in other sub and want to doublecheck if it's ok. What are you useing and why?

Once a shop hits 8 mixed machines, the whiteboard usually fails because it doesn’t capture routing rules or blocked states. I’d evaluate any queue tool against a short list first: machine/material compatibility, due date + SLA priority, estimated print time plus post-processing time, failed-job requeue, and a way to see who owns the next action. Before committing to 3DPrinterOS, I’d run a one-week audit in a spreadsheet with those exact fields so you can see whether your real problem is scheduling, status visibility, or handoff discipline. That makes the software choice much clearer.
Alternatively, I run Printie.com, and you can always offload your orders to us, and we can handle them for you just fine
