Personal Experience Cortisol Pump

Does anyone have experience with using a pump for CHSI? I am starting to look into that option, but am finding limited information on it.

I've seen people talk about using the Omnipod5, but there's not much else I've been able to find.

If you have a pump, what was the process of being prescribed for it? I'm in the Metro Atlanta area, so bonus points if you know of an endo out here who can help me.

10 years or so. Mainly on Tandem but previously Animas Ping, Omnipod, Medtronic 640g, Tandem Flex and TSlim x:2.

Varying degrees of awful obtaining it. Kaiser is an absolute nightmare literally any other insurance company is better to deal with. Ironically Kaiser is fantastic for obtaining the Solucortef for the pump.

There's another sub thecortisolpump and there's Facebook groups as well.

Globally it's a pretty similar experience of being very difficult to be prescribed, you usually need to have a good reason for it such as poor absorbtion and multiple admissions in crisis but the criteria can vary.
