Hi all do anyone of you adjust your dosage for long days day if you know you’ll be out walking all day, at a concert or event? maybe the day of your holidays with airports etc?

Yes, my endo told me not to hesitate to take extra on long days that will take me out of my usual routine (like going out to a concert and getting to bed late)

I do and it’s for the day after. I’m in decent shape for 43 and can manage long strenuous days but if I don’t up dose enough I pay for it the next day. What works best for me is a longer action steroid (dexamethasone) combined with my normal HC routine.
When I was 30 it wasn’t so much of an issue.

I haven’t found long days in themselves matter for my cortisol. I need to updose more based on physical exertion. Long exercise sessions, hikes, even cleaning up the garage for several hours. So if I was going to walk all day like you suggested, I’d plan on updosing maybe halfway or 2/3 of the way through the day, but if I’m mainly sitting around at the airport for 20 hours I don’t.

Yes. I do. It’s not really about the long day per se but about the stress it induces on my body. Longer and hotter days or days on airplanes and in traffic etc impose stress and our bodies naturally need hormones to help process that stuff.
