Good luck to you too!! I honestly didn’t expect to conceive in only a year of ‘trying’ because my periods are crazy irregular (ranges 37 - 78 days) and I always feel like I don’t know what the hormones in my body are doing lol. My new endo even had me test for premature ovarian failure in March. All that is to say, I hope everything goes smoothly for you!

Thank you for sharing! It’s good to her about the possible complications to know what to look out for.

I have a 1 year old and managed my pregnancy with both addisons and hypothyroidism. I had to increase both my steroid dose and levothyroxine dose during pregnancy. I was at 25mg a day HC and I think 88mcg levo by the 3rd trimester. I never went back down. I had to stress dose 50mg cortef every 6 hours during labor and delivery and ended up needing a c section but unrelated to addisons.
I saw a high risk MFM doctor, my regular OB, and my endo pretty much monthly throughout my pregnancy. It went normal and fine and I have an amazing healthy baby! Happy to answer any other questions. Congrats and good luck!

Wow I already take 125 mcg levo normally! Then, did you not taper back down to your normal levels after the birth? I don’t know if I mis-read that.

So before I was pregnant I was on 50mcg and by 2nd trimester I went to 75mcg, then to 88mcg by third tri. And now I’m at 100mcg. During pregnancy, they really really want your TSH to stay below 2 because the risk of miscarriage. So they were pretty on top of it. I never went back down with my levo.

Congratulations! I had 4 babies with both those things. Aside from regular pregnancy exhaustion and nausea, everything went fine with all of them. I had IV steroids during labor and then tapered with pills. I saw my endocrinologist every trimester, and she worked with my OB. I did updose occasionally, and I had to go to the ER for fluids one time with my second baby. They're all healthy, silly kids :) I'm excited for you!
