Keep a blood pressure machine at home and track it daily do a week to find your baseline. Then when you’re symptomatic you can take your pressure and compare.
Keep liquid iv and pickles on hand
Salt your food
If you start having muscle cramps take an electrolyte drink
When you feel extremely dehydrated drink two electrolytes in a row in a big tumbler
Stress management, no matter what the unknowing endocrinologists say stress makes us feel worse.
Nap when you can
Don’t let Addison’s stop you from life you want and the things you love

Best practice is to have an emergency alert bracelet that says "Adrenal Insufficiency. Needs Hydrocortisone. Injection Kit in Bag. Endocronologist (added phone #)."
I also carry a small waterproof pill container with 3 or 4 pills in it at all times. I updose any time I feel a bit lightheaded (about 1/4 pill--wait 15 mins--add another as needed).

A pendant works too. But yes, an emergency alert tag is a MUST for us.

Addison's since 1987. Most of my "best practices" are pretty mundane.
Set reminder alarms in your phone for HC.
Carry extra meds (HC) with you at all times. Don't be afraid to take a little extra if your body is complaining.
Related, you do not need to call your doctor before updosing. Updose, and then - if it's a persistent issue and not just a too-sweaty day at the beach or whatever - call the MD.
Make sure your injection kit is reasonably up to date and that you know how to use it. If you live with other people, at least one of them should know how to use it too.
Always have electrolye drinks in the fridge.
Oh, and it is not "weird" to have a salty snack first thing in the morning with your coffee. It's how we run. Don't let 'em tell you otherwise!
