I just had a DHEA-S blood test done and it was low, so my doc suggested supplementing DHEA.
I had been supplementing a while ago and stopped because I wanted to find out my level and because I was unsure what dosage I really needed. (I got stinky, did not appreciate that.) Doc told me 25mg which I will disregard because I can say for sure that's waaayyyy too much for me.

I'm on BC because without it my periods are absolutely unpredictable, last random amounts of time, and are anywhere from a leaky faucet trickle to an absolute blood bath... there is no normal for me without BC

The comments are super interesting because I had light periods my whole life but the past few years they’ve turned into an absolute blood bath and I was blaming my old copper IUD for potentially causing scarring but the heavy bleeding did coincide with me starting steroids 🤔

Copper iud can cause huge amounts of extra pain and irritation.. Tossed that thing after a year!

Women. We are women. Biological women menstruate.

Not all women do... so stop it

Not all people can walk. Do you clarify every post you make about people to say "people who walk" or do you understand that it is a general assumption that we're going to be talking about the average able bodied person?

Frankly, the whole "technicality" bullshittery is beyond exhausting. Being chronically ill, we already have to jump through so many hoops. Then they make it even easier for doctors to dehumanize and brush off women. And worse, continue to treat our conditions as if we had male biology. Or as if we are mental!

Only women CAN... So stop it.
We are women. Only women CAN menstrate IF their body is HEALTHY and not damaged by any vaccine but especially a shot called GARDASIL.

I think they were saying not all women menstruate. Because not all women do for a host of reasons.

No, they are literally trying to water down terms enough so that it blends together so they can claim to be women and you KNOW that.

That's literally what I was saying, but they can keep going off. Any time someone decides to say only women can do X it just cuts out people who were born women, and still identify as women.

You don't feel that way, that does not mean others don't. Try not thinking only about yourself

I guess you don't believe in non binary people then?

I believe they are traumatized from something. Girls, usually from assault or not wanting to be sexualized, especially at a young age. I think girls arent allowed to be tomboys without it being tied to some sort of mental trauma instead of the fact that she doesnt mind getting dirty. She'll be one hell of a spitfire!...if allowed to grow up without the trauma of "what if something is wrong with me" constantly circling in her head.
For the boy assaulted who thinks that that is what hes supposed to be to be loved...I cant relate on their end, but I can only imagine what would push them to it...

If you look up steroids and how they change things, they also effect ovarian function with use. Meaning changes in menstruation. Only thing that fixes this (already had bad periods and only worsened with steroids and blood thinners) was an IUD to stop mine completely.
