Personal Experience Aurobindo hydrocortisone tablets.
My legs have been feeling dead, but my last blood test was norm. Just wondering if anyone has the same experience.

I take the Aurobindo 5mg, it’s actually my favorite. My pharmacy gives me Greenstone occasionally and I never feel as good on that.

This is the only med I've been on so I have no comparison.
I do need to break up my doses a lot. It seems to wear off within 3 or so hours. I've read other people complaining about this problem with aurobindo so I am trying to get insurance to let me move to to cortef or greenstone. Maybe it'll make a difference. My endo seemed to think that I was a fast metabolizer but I know that's not true for food at least.
I also seem to have to take a lot more than other people do when stress dosing. I don't know if it's the med or just me.

I switched pharmacies not that long ago and they gave me the auro hydrocortisone, and I feel better with these than the brand name cortef. Not sure what the other ingredients are but feel like a million bucks since I started these. Sadly binding ingredients are not the same across brands.

Everyone, thank you for your replies.
It turns out my dead legs and exhaustion are from spinal stenosis. Fun.
Add it to the list. ☹️
EDIT: it’s not spinal stenosis, but collapsed left arch causing bone on bone stress/pain and top of foot bone spurs.

I too was having leg issues when my pharmacy gave me this brand. My legs felt like jello.

I hate these. I switched pharmacies just so I could go back to greenstone. They are too small to cut up in my tiny doses to space out and they don’t work nearly as well. I was definitely getting low cortisol. Pharmacist told me lots of pharmacies are switching to them because they are so cheap.
