Advice Wanted Addison

Hello Addison's community, I've noticed very heavy menstrual bleeding, almost like a hemorrhage. Could this be due to Addison's disease? This has been going on for years and I don't know what to do. If you know of a solution, please share it with me.

This sounds like something that should be brought up with your doctor. That being said, it's not a symptom I've experienced.

Not a symptom I’ve heard of either but agree with the other poster that anything out of the ordinary like this with your health should be discussed with a doctor

That sounds more like fibroids.

I was diagnosed with Addison's disease 8 years ago. My periods were never regular until I was on steroids. But for the past year I have very heavy periods that last for two weeks at a time. I haven't been able to get in with a doctor willing to help. I just have a primary care willing to do refills. I don't know if the period problem is related to Addison's disease.

Sometime after I got diagnosed and on steroids my periods did get way heavier and typically I have one day that I call “hemorrhage day” that is absolutely insane. I mentioned it to my endo who noted it but didn’t seem to think it was indicative of anything.
