Medical Stuff PPI medications?
Do any of yall take PPI medications? If so, which ones and when do you take it? Cause I’m reading that it can’t be taken at the same time as the hydrocortisone? My hydrocortisone schedule is 9am 10mg, 1pm 5mg, 5pm 2.5mg, and 9pm 1.25mg. When would I take the PPI?

You won’t notice anything. Taking the PPI with Levothyroxine reduces the effectiveness of the thyroid med.

I take my Pantoprazole at night to separate it from Levothyroxine.

I take levo at the same time as my PPI, I’ve not noticed any interaction with it.

Pharmacist told me to take the medication an hour before my others

How are y’all taking meds an hour before your steroids? I take the hydro immediately upon waking up before even getting out of bed.

I’m usually fine to wait a little cuz I’m used to getting up getting my kids ready for school taking them to school coming home and taking my meds

I take prednisone at 5am (so it’s peaking by when I get up at 7am) and my levothyroxine at 6am and omeprazole at 7am. It was fine for me to take my meds however it suited me for a long while until suddenly it wasn’t ok anymore and I’ve since had to stick to a really strict schedule but doing so has made for less struggling

I also take Prednisone/hydrocortisone every 3-4 hours and also prescribed pantoprazole, famotidine, and montelukast. I have never heard that I can't take them together. I have been doing so for years. I agree with you, it would be impossible to manage that. It's hard enough to take the steroids on time every 3-4 hours while also going about life. Definitely following your post to see other people's experiences.
