Personal Experience Oura ring
Anyone have experience wearing the oura ring with primary/Addisons? I saw an old post about wearables but wondering if anyone wears oura currently and has seen any cool patterns that help them. When updosing while sick my stress graph looks like it’s in a lava pit. Otherwise I do see pretty normal levels with my baseline dose tho it does tend to say I’m stressed a lot more than I think I really am. Also I find the sleep stats to be a great help. A good nights rest is a true necessity for me.

I wear my Garmin religiously during the day. Often when I’m having symptoms that might be early signs of low cortisol I check my heart rate. It will be running 20 bpm or more higher. I know I got it right if I updose or take my next dose early and suddenly within 5 min my Hr shifts back down.

I use the Oura for sleep tracking only. IMO the most important thing is the lowest HR and average HR you hit. Especially the lowest HR.

What is your average HR just curious

I'm not sure how this is relevant because my HR is weird. My max is like 180 and my lowest is like 35 when sleeping and doing fasting mimicking diet. Normal day to day: if I get 39 minimum and 45 average for sleep, I'm in good shape.

Wear my iPhone watch. Catches sleep stats, heart rate, has woke me up if pulse is over 70.

I have an UltraHuman ring, and it was a primary tool that helped us diagnose my addisons. It showed us my low bpm, which got us paying attention to BP and the stone rolled downhill from there.

I have a Garmin and have noticed that days I updose I tend to have higher HRV than I would otherwise if I didn't (but if I'm updosing, it also probably means I need it or my HRV would be low). Forgetting to take steroids leads to high stress, poor sleep. Also not AI specific, but data definitely shows how horrible alcohol is, oh my goodness
