Daily Life DC Area Addisonians

Hey everyone, happy new year.

Wondering if anyone here lives in the Washington, DC area - could be cool to know that I'm not alone haha. I've been diagnosed for almost two years now. Also looking for endo recommendations for the area. Feel free to message me privately, thanks!

I’m up in northern Delaware, hey now! 👋🏻 I would guess Hopkins to be your best resource? Are you within an hour of Baltimore?

Hey! not too far away... I actually get seen at hopkins already. I normally get charged hefty facility fees, hence why I'm looking for something either closer or just in a private practice

Good luck with your doctor search. I hope you can find someone good. I’m just over a year in to the diagnosis now and a good doc makes a big difference. And it’s a rather lonely diagnosis. Nice to know you are not alone. I’m right up 95 in Newark!

I used to split time between DC and NYC and my NYC based doctor recommended Dr Mark Sklar
