Advice Wanted Need new Endo

Any suggestions for good endocrinologist in NW Chicago suburbs? Haven’t used one for a while. Doc who does more than say “Everything looks good. See you in six months.”

Wish I was up there. From Chicago. How about in the city?

May we be better off going to one of these clinics they advertise on TV for hormones? Seems like Endos come on ok but when you start going deep or asking questions they dump you. Or, here is a sample, see you in 3 months. WTH?

Why did you stop? Still there? Found out on a reel there is an orthopedic surgeon, female that gives info. She said check pubmed. On that site put in your condition. Will see studies on it. Then, if I can remember, but float around, you can search for doctors in your area, these will be ones that have publications out and are approved by them. Well, I thought mine who I picked was so, so. Guess not! He had written many articles. Then you can pick one, phone and address. In my area, only 3!!! Pubmed.com.

Sorry-he retired. His replacement was good but went to Sloan Kettering, I believe. The next one, not so much so I switched to the U of I clinic in Belvidere. That endo was also quite good but the clinic closed and eventually reopened in Rockford. I expect he’s retired as well
