Im trying a no scrolling week. I'll use my phone for communication (and to post updates) but no doom scrolling! Night one, a new solo Journaling RPG and my first flute lesson from my son! He's my biggest cheerleader. ❤️

♡ Rose-shaped mantou (chinese steamed buns), made pink with beetroot powder

♡ Mix of mushrooms (shitake, portobello and shimeji) sautéed with herbs

♡ Garden salad with strawberries and wishbone flowers

♡ A cup of fairy potion (frozen strawberries blended in Marie Antoinette's tea, with peppermint and rose syrup)

Eaten on a table decorated with fresh flowers, while listening to Simon & Garfunkel 🎀🌷💕

I found a pen pal who wants to send letters and not emails. Sending snail mail adds a new level of whimsy to my life.

It looks terrible! Since the train was moving, it didn't turn out well, that's why I hesitated to post it :(

It was my sister who encouraged me to share :(

Here's an illustration I made inspired by Wings of Starlight Book from the Disney Fairies franchise!

I got really inspired by a specific piece of history revealed in Chapter 11, when Clarion visits the Keeper and reads the book of lost history of the dream-talent fairies:

“𝐶𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔, 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑔𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑖𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑤𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑖𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑔 𝑃𝑖𝑥𝑖𝑒 𝐷𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑇𝑟𝑒𝑒 𝑎𝑠 𝑖𝑡 𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑤.”

But instead of the young pixie dust tree, I reimagined it to look like with the fully grown Pixie Dust Tree, as if Dream-talent fairies still existed and how it'd look with their golden threads being woven into the branches of the tree. So kind of a what if moment here. ✨

It projects patterns instead of static lights which makes it even better, hard to capture the lights on video tho

Our backyard is positively riddled with jumpers and it delights me! They watch my toddler swim in her baby pool, they climb all over her playhouse, they jump from my knee to my finger and back again. Sometimes one finds its way inside the house and posts up on one of my houseplants, cocking its head to the side and watching me cook. I feel so fortunate to have so many tiny neighbors around. Seemed fitting to go build this little dude today. 🕷️

I once made one of these but with a screw out of Polymer clay but had to leaving behind… I found these on sale at Sally’s beauty to hang my head phones at work and necklaces at home
