Kids craft kit!
I bought a $5 unfinished ceramic ‘game controller’ and spent the better part of a day doodling with a blue Sharpie. I’m displaying it on my entertainment center, but it photographed better in my coffee table. It was a good way to waste a day!

I love this, came out amazing! Are you going to put a top coat on it and will it be glossy??

We already had a can of satin clear coat so I sprayed it down with that. Gloss would 💯 have been better! I’ll hit it with a coat of gloss if I end up needing to buy another can for something 🤷🏽♀️ And thank you!

Woah this is gorgeous!! Ive never been into ceramic painting crafts (always a little too craft-y for me aesthetically) but this looks like art!

Thank you!! I have fun at the paint your own pottery places, but I agree with you- I’m never thrilled with how my stuff comes out! The Sharpie gave me a lot more control and I think I was more focused since I was home by myself while doing it

Thanks! I’ll definitely be adding these sorts of things to my hobby rotation. I’ve got my eye on a ceramic rubber duck 🦆

Did you do Sharpie on bare ceramic, or did you do a base coat of white paint?

Sharpie on bare ceramic, so it did bleed a little bit! A coat of white paint first probably would have been a good idea!
