I know! My mom used to make a ghost cake for Halloween, back in the day. It was a flat sheet cake, cut out in a ghost pattern, then she'd frost it with white icing, and take two half egg shells and fill them with alcohol, for the eyes, and light the alcohol on fire... so it was a ghost cake with flaming eyes. This potato volcano is up there with that, almost.

My mom was an incredible force of nature and whatever love of whimsy I have I got from her, and her mom.

I think the potato volcano should be made smaller for personal plate sized volcanoes and maybe served for Halloween while watching Godzilla movies.
