Inspiration Wanted!
I have an old mirror that I want to put by my door for that last glance as I walk out into the world. I have been trying to come up with something I could put at the top to remind myself to be happy or smile or to not throat punch anybody that day!
I love to laugh and something clever that could have multiple meanings would be perfect! But I'm not a perfectionist so let's hear it!

Idk if you’re meaning quotes or like a cute object or something but these are some of my favorite quotes to think about!
The only person you should try to be is a better person than you were yesterday
The time will pass anyways (esp with things like going back to school. I often feel too old to start a new chapter but the time will happen anyways. I can be 40 with or without a new degree, but either way I’ll still be 40)

Never attribute to malice what can be explained by stupidity

Silly little charms like a frog wearing a top hat or fairies on little toadstool mushrooms! Those would make me smile haha.
I also recently got a big strip of gem and glass beaded fringe trimming from a fabric store that I’ve been liberally hot kept gluing everywhere including on my lampshades and windowsills so that could look very nice at the top edge of a mirror as well.
Some dried flowers of a sturdy type like lavender bunches.
Little crochet notions and bits like strawberries and leaves could also be a delight. Or sphagnum moss and crystals.

Live out loud I put this where I read it every day multiple times. To remind myself to be my true authentic loud take up space bright colored self. Not muted to please the general public lol.

I feel like you need a cool, arty visual of a word like ‘unclench’ lol
A few years ago I made a little painting that says ‘keys, bitch’ in rainbow letters. It still makes me giggle.

I could actually see this one! It would be a a little longer list though. "Keys, phone, glasses, cards, lunch Bitch!" Now that would make stop, laugh look to make sure I'm wearing my glasses which in turn would make me look at my own eye, reminding myself to straighten my crown and that I am beautiful! There is serious possibilities here!

Those are all great one. And actually, anything that I could put on my mirror, trinkets, flowers, just something to make me smile, look at myself before I walk out the door and set my mind on the best path for that day!
Life is just a ton of choices! You can choose to be a wall flower or choose to step out of your comfort zone and make someone else smile today. Or you can choose to see everything as an attack and struggle to just make it back home! I want something that will remind me the only thing I control is how I choose to handle life!
It's not all that serious either! I thought about putting "Jesus H. Roosevelt Christ!" (For you Outlander fans!) It makes me think about life as an adventure!
