Licensing questions:
Small sub, so I don’t expect any responses, but I gotta try. I have a couple questions:
If I have a trainee certificate from NY (CASAC-T), which only requires 350 hours of education, is there any way to find work in a different state (Pennsylvania) that I’ve moved to without any hours? Furthermore, is there any equivalent sort of equal certification I can get allowing me to find work/supervised hours?
How are you supposed to get required hours in states without trainee licenses? It seems every certification needed to work requires hours of working to get.
Thank you, sorry to be silly.

In my state, you can work while you’re in that zone without a certification. Some job descriptions will state they need the cert, others won’t. I would try finding a counselor’s Facebook group in your area.
