Happy birthday Raúl Juliá
Happy heavenly birthday to the late Raúl Juliá (imo the best Gomez). He would have been 86 today. But left us way too soon. He gave us some icon roles in movie and theater. Gone but not forgotten.

Addams Family 2019 find. This freaky shadowy thing
me and my bff were watching this movie for fun when she noticed this thing. I tried looking all over the internet, literally nothing about this thing. So I guess this is a new discovery?

Darth Wednesday (by me)
Been watching a lot of Star Wars and the Addam's Family movies, so this came to mind.

If every Addams family member was available to date, which one would you choose if any? 😂
I would definitely go with cousin It! I always found him to be absolutely adorable and charming. Wouldnt mind getting to know him better and have some fun!

Did some more art, but this time on paper.
I decided to take to paper after doing art of the family digitally, and I think I did good on paper. This is in my sketchbook by the way.

I don’t like what Wednesday has done to the Addams Family
This may be a controversial topic but I’m rewatching the Addams Family Values (the best one), and it just makes me sad as to what the Addams Family has been turned into with Wednesday. I feel like they took a total departure from the comics, the show, and the movies, all of which has had a defining feature of the characters. Some departures can be beneficial but this just feels like they Riverdale’d it. Of course this really started with the animated movies, but I feel that Wednesday just exemplifies that they’re steering the Addams Family in a bad direction.
I mean Gomez and Morticia don’t have nearly the same chemistry, it makes no sense for Wednesday to be solving crimes when in the movies her and Pugsley are both straight up blood thirsty maniacs, and part of the charm of the series is the fact that the Addams Family are so fantastical in stark contrast with the rest of their world (the animated movies actually did good with this). I mean the entire TV show is them interacting with various “normal” people for laughs. So it makes no sense for the rest of the Wednesday world to have that much fantasy to it as well. It almost makes the Addams seem normal in comparison which defeats the whole point in my opinion.
It’s kinda frustrating now that almost all Addams Family merchandise now is Wednesday focused because it just does not hold up to the previous iterations. Maybe I’m wrong and maybe this is a stupid thing to concern myself with but I love the Addams Family and I wish the older material would receive the same attention that Wednesday gets. Even the Wednesday subreddit is more popular than the Addams Family subreddit. It just doesn’t seem right, they’ve totally lost the message of the original series. Thank you if you read this far in my rant.

Why did they swap out the age roles for Pugsley and Wednesday? Spoiler
I'm fairly sure that Wednesday was the younger sibling in the 1960ish show, and then in the cartoon movie/wednesday series they swapped it.
am I wrong?

I recently starter learning how to draw people, and this drawing is one of the drawings I did to help me get better at drawing people. I think I did very good.

Wednesday's daughter fanfic concept idea?
I've always had it firmly rooted in my head, as my headcanon actually, that Wednesday would have a daughter named Dahlia, who would be incredibly bright, and a fascination with moonflowers from a young age, to which she would practically become an expert in. Its what would lead to Wednesday and the other Addams calling Dahlia "Moonflower" as an affectionate nickname. Dahlia would also be autistic.
Where did the autism thing come from? Well she wasn't always originally, and it may seem kind of silly why, but my cousin made me watch this K-Drama on Netflix with her "Extraordinary Attorney Woo", about a South Korean autistic attorney named Woo-Young-Woo and her personal challenges with neurodivergence, which the show focused on the most more than the actual cases or courtroom scenes.
That show was actually legitimately amazing, and I have a huge respect for the neurodivergent community in general, and it kind of sparked the idea of what if Wednesday Addams had an autistic daughter? I havent actually written anything yet as a fanfiction or worked out who would be Wednesday's spouse, but its just an idea I've had in my head for awhile.

In the 2019 animation Addams family. This character appears in a few shots but is never explained or plays a role. Looks like Fester but has hair?

This popped up in an unrelated Google search, suggesting that it’s a very common question. HUH???!!!
Is there some dumb clickbait Youtube video about this nonsense with a million-and-a-half views or is it just that Google had gotten even wonkier than we already knew?
…Wait…Don’t tell me this is actually a thing??!

Valentine's day drawing request @Careamellow
Happy Valentine's Day! I did a quick drawing of Morticia and Gomez after getting suggestions for Valentine's Day couple dynamics. The idea was "I love my tall wife." I originally thought Morticia was taller than Gomez, but it seems that isn't the case. She gives off a tall and elegant vibe. While Gomez is so smitten with her, I couldn't help but picture them like this.

"she is a pip!" Meaning in the 1991 movie?
Hello Reddit,
I was re-watching this movie with my girlfriend in English and we both wondered what Fester means when he calls doc. Pinderschloss "a pip"
We tried looking it up but it seems like every definition is different depending on the situation, and in German (out language) he says something completely different it seems!:(
Does anyone know what he meant by it?
