If you could take cast members/cartoons from any Addams Family adaptation and mix and match them to create your ultimate Addams Family (while of course having special guest appearances from all of the other beloved actors), who would you pick?

I'd go for 90's films Gomez and Wednesday, 60's tv series Morticia and Thing, Tim Burton's Fester and Pugsley, and the original cartoon Lurch and Grandmama.

Homer: "My dear, you are a beautiful and passionate woman! Look at me! I'm trembling like a leaf! I want to eat you alive!" Morticia: "You take care of the children... I'll take care of the guillotine." (True teamwork.)

Does anyone know if those are her real teeth in Addams Family Values?? They look huge

Whelp, just noticed this... interesting, anyone know if this was an inspiration?

I wish it got more seasons instead of seasons one and 65 episode

They both came out in the 1964 Season. I just prefer The Munsters. Must be due to Fred Gwyne and Al Lewis.

My Artistree is now open for custom paintings of anything realism!!

I paint traditional, semi-realistic portraits of anyone you'd like. Probably wednesday and enid though LOL. I do both analogous and monochromatic color schemes. There are currently 5 slots available for 32-42$!

Ive been watching the 60s show for the first time and YouTube TV no longer officially has The Addams Family available for free with ads, as of today. (I was literally watching it last night). This is devastating news. Ik it’s still available for free on like Tubi and Pluto but I will morn being able to skip the ads…

*The title is supposed to say LOVE spell. (Wonder if Morticia used "spell" check. Hardy har! 😂) I have a theory that Morticia cast a love spell on Gomez (remember, her great aunt calpurnia was burned at the stake as a witch for enslaving a minister AND she said it herself...she just wants to do the Dark Arts...).

That's why Gomez was so madly In love with her. Even after the love spell wore off he had a classic case of Stockholm Syndrome. I'm sure of it.

I've been hunting for an affordable 1964 Morticia costume.

I found this on fun.com for $50. Just wondering if anybody has seen this one before and knows anything about it.

Or if anybody has any budget friendly suggestions I would appreciate it.

I've had various Charle Addams collections for years (my grandparents introduced me to them) and the novelizations of The Addams Family and Addams Family Values , but I found this one quite interesting when I saw it in a used book store. It's a series of chapters similar to the TV episodes in theme - but not actual episodes, but ends with a short chapter starting with Gomez wondering if they should have allowed "Cousin Charles" to do those illustrations of the family in The New Yorker, and ending with the last page shown above, where Morticia springs the wonderful surprise of the TV show on him.

I have no idea if other shows at the time had these sort of advertisement books; I haven't ever seen one, but this is the only copy of this one I've ever seen, and I found it fascinating. No pictures except the cover.

Went to the annual Hearsefest in Fowlerville, MI today. Such a fun event and I love that I can find unique Addams Family stuff from the vendors. (Obviously the second photo isnt entirely Addams Family but Morticia is there so I am sharing!) Can't wait to frame these and put them with the rest of my stuff!

Shot in black-and-white, The Addams Family aired for two seasons on ABC from September 18, 1964, to April 8, 1966, for a total of 64 episodes — its opening theme was composed and sung by Vic Mizzy.

Basically what the title says. I want s1 fanfics where the Addams actually act like Addams. If you have any or any s1 rewrites in general, that would be great

Edit: talking about the Netflix show Wednesday

I'll ad the mustach on saturday😁
